It is all well and good to be an advocate against domestic violence, and rape, and sexual assault. But she is the wrong kind. She is the kind that believes there is no such thing as a false accusation. She is the kind that believes men cannot be victims. She is the kind that believes that there is no such thing as equal accountability, and that men are only aggressors and woman are only victims. She is the a believers in retroactively reversible consent. Yes in the act, can turn to no the next day, and that is fine... Like so many other social issues, you will never get anywhere if you treat it all as a zero sum game. If you block out other factors, if you ignore other elements, or if you consider it to be a problem only caused by men. She has become, as you say, a professional victim.

BT is a loathsome example of what she fancies herself as.
And she loves her little twitter sycophant echo chamber. She can do no wrong there (as far as they're concerned).
There are no shades of grey, whatsoever (or context). Only victimizers and victims.
If only we could've seen her thoughts about the Duke Lacrosse case (at the time, especially) and a certain University of Virgina fraternity (as originally portrayed in Rolling Stone).
LH's case is CONCLUDED. The plea agreement and was agreed to by all parties, the accused, the plaintiff and the State. Luke has successfully completed the mandatory requirements and paid his debt to society in full. He has no criminal record whatever. It's time for folks to get on with their lives.

I am so sick of these duplicitous lying sacks of sh*t. So - let's examine the logic here - shall we? How about we use the same logic on illegal aliens - you know, like the dirtbag that offed Kate Steinle in San Francisco - wanna bet BT would be right there advocating for mercy, patience and forgiveness, because illegal aliens just cannot help themselves, and do not understand the culture?
Think about it - if LH deserves to be made to wear a sign on his chest for the rest of his life announcing to the world his particular crime, why not anyone else? Why do we forgive ANYONE of their particular crime? Why should LH be allowed to do ANYTHING with his life - baseball or otherwise? Shouldn't he have heckklers, protesters and such follow him around everywhere, much like the paid low-lifes that now follow the Presidents' staff around everywhere being punks, jerks and dickheads?
LH deserves the same level of respect, deference and forgiveness as anyone else, no matter what his crime is - or is not. If we give ourselves as a society the right to ostracize LH for the rest of his life, then where does it stop? Since BT and her ilk don't give a rat's behind what the law says, why should we? Maybe the next time someone cuts me off in traffic, I should just whip out a pistol and shoot them, right? I mean, why does the law have to be obeyed? Never mind his record is clean at this point. What gives BT or anyone else the right to determine how LH makes his living? If you choose to not let your daughter date LH - I get it. But this is not his personal life - it is his professional one. It really is not BT's business, or anyone else's for that matter. If everyone including BT had all of their dirty laundry on display, I doubt they would be so quick to judge. If we were to examine the lives of many professional athletes, all that they have done, it would make LH pale in comparison. To think LH playing MLB would somehow taint the KC Royals or any other team is laughable.
Why it is that so many people cannot see the hypocrisy of their position on this, is astounding to me. He has no record at this point. It is really all just heresay, regardless of his plea at the time. Either his actual legal record matters - or it doesn't. God help us when we get to the point where we are judge, jury and executioner. There are a lot of people that had better run like hell when that happens.

Your response has pretty much NOTHING to do with my quoted post.
My post applies to Brenda Tracy as well.

My post applies to Brenda Tracy as well. BT thinks the legal system is not enough. That people should carry labels the rest of their lives, as long as she and others of her ilk convict them in the court of public opinion. Not gonna let a little thing like facts get in the way. Only feelings matter (and retribution). Couldn't agree more. If I was more tech savvy, I would link up a song from the past - "Harper Valley PTA"
