I don't think they will dogpile tonight after they win. They are so focused on the big picture, a national championship, that this will be just one more step. No reason to celebrate this win any more than any other this season.

It was a great call by Adley. Dog piling means you're satisfied and less likely to want more. These men want their Banner
How many times have you seen a High Jumper or Pole Vault clear a height, celebrate hard and clear the next height...just doesn't happen. They just as well take their shoes off if they celebrate because their day is done

I'm not much for jinxes, but both the 2013 and 2017 teams dogpiled after winning the Super Regional. And you know what happens when you do that. So, please no dogpile tonight!!! We don't dogpile until Omaha! No dogpiling allowed. I remember UCLA losing an important player because they dogpiled. The Beavers and other teams are lucky they haven't lost players because of the dogpile. |

There wasn't even a chance of a dogpile it was so anticlimactic. In fact, if we win the series it may be the least energized dogpile ever because of the nature of this team. It's like when I bust my ass all week and get a fat check on payday. Was I happy with my check? Hell yeah! Am I gonna celebrate with a few beers and a handful of touch tunes songs? Hell yeah! But my celebration was a bit tempered because I expected it. These players are baseball assassins. AND I LOVE IT!!!
