Watson with another (non)outstanding play in CF. My view is biased after watching Kwan patrol the outfield. I always am thinking oh, Kwan could get that ball

Outstanding defensive center fielder huh. watch much baseball? 2 or 3 plays last night I thought questionable. Today in the Bermuda triangle ball he ran hard then the 2B moved out of the way. Watson slowed up. I thought he had a chance if he layed out for it Like i say i'm biased. Kwan would have given it a shot. back to the game LSU 2 NWS 0 B3 NWS threatening |

I have not seen Watson play until last night. I have seen Kwan make plays all year. It appears to my eyes that Watson is a good to possibly great hitter. But his defense was below average. Adley Rutschman hit a ball to CF fence last night. Looked to me that Watson misplayed it with a poor route or turned around. Another ball in RCF gap he didn't get to. And i think I'm forgetting another. He's a Frosh so he's probably got a lot of upside on his D The eye black puts me off too  Fair enough? 2 run HR Demons tied @ 2 B4 |
