9-0. Wow.
So by the transitive property the Beavs should beat LSU tonight by 12 runs? Iβm good with that. π

I had my doubts but I think starting Femmel was a good call now, I think the OSU coaches saw something in NW St and decided not to take any chances and be 0-1 right out of the gate like FSU and NCSt did last night. Stanford and Clemson also dodge a #4 bullet. SDSU is a good team, MWC champs and NW got them pretty good.

Last time I was in Omaha for the BEAVS/lsu game, it was BEAVS 13-1. In our section, most lsu fans left by the 7th inning.
Then they got their unk street into position to influence the following games. Without him, they had no chance,
This year, they didn't bring him. They have no chance. BEAVS 13-1 is possible.

Luke's ERA is 2.49... he has no shutouts this season... don't think he has a complete game either which means the pen will likely be used. Just saying π Think OSU needs 5 to win this.

LOL! Against UCLA Luke combined with Eisert to pitch a shutout. Against USC, he combined with Mulholland for a shutout. He's been pitching stronger as the season has progressed. I expect him to be at the top of his game tonight. Shutout all the way!

I attend games home and away... and since your post didn't argue against any FACT it's obvious as a relative rookie here you are also to the game of baseball. SO- one pitcher, complete game by rule, no runs allowed CBO- combined shutout, no runs allowed in a game by a combo of pitchers So... again... Luke has a ERA of 2.49 which means in a complete game he'd give up an average of over 2 EARNED runs per game... Again... has zero complete or shutouts up till now. So after 16 appearances it's a pretty simple conclusion to say he'll give up at least one and of course so could the pen. Class over. PS- more than likely it's the relative newcomer (registered May 28... 53 posts) who doesn't know his own stat definitions that is the one belonging to any "droppings" π

I actually have lurked for a long time, so I know that you know a lot about baseball and that you are quite vocal on the board. Thus, I was surprised that you would have forgotten Luke's last two outings and how strong he pitched. Honestly, I was merely trying to make fun of all the LSU fans here suddenly. Part of the joke is that you are such an established voice on this board that any assertion that you came from Tigerdroppings would be ludicrous. Hence, I thought it was funny. I guess it didn't come across that way. Anyway, my point was simple. Luke has pitched 16+ innings of scoreless baseball in his last two outings.
