I think there’s some wisdom to trying to keep as many arms rested as possible. It’s a long haul. If we can get it done with one or two, why not let the others rest?

Fehmel going deep tonight helps a lot. If he stays together I bet they and try to take him complete game and save the closer. Starts getting roughed up but with big lead probably don’t see Mulholland (closer) LSU is a good baseball team also. If that’s the matchup it’ll be fun. |

Sanders is pitching shut out type ball right now
Hess
beck
Peterson
gilbert
Labas and Hilliard are supposedly out due to fatigue
it will be hard tho....with Hess he is either being touched early or he plays lights out...he has a tendency to run his pitch count high to early and it hurts him in the later innings...his first as a starter...

sharkfhin, if you don't mind, tell us more about Hess. He was simply dominant last year out of the pen but his numbers this year suggest a lot of struggle. K's barely at 1:1 to IP and just 2:1 K:BB ratio. His .231 SEC BAA is nice though. Looks like struggled at end of season but bounced back vs Arkansas?
