Madrigal is 0-15 in the last 4 games. Our hits per game and run production, are way down the last two weeks. Better to worry about your bats than to worry about your balls.

Somewhere in between 'sucks' and 'he will revolutionize hitting' would be good. Talking to Parker more than anyone here, but the canonizing and marketing of Madrigal is just making us feel like our little brothers to the south.. Deserves all the marketing we can give him, are you blind!!

Top 4 guys still just went 3 for 16 fwiw, with someone of the group going 3 for 5.
I'm still not worried, but worth the call-out

He is about to be a top 5 pick in the MLB draft... so... yeah, canonize him.

It will happen for the guys at the top, just think we are doing this without the best rbi guys in the conference. They will add to their numbers, starting tomorrow night!

sooo tired of the Madrigal hyping.. just stop You're tired of OSU doing what every single school does when they have an athlete that by all signs is going to be a very high draft pick? Madrigal is awesome. Keep blasting his name out there, as far as I'm concerned.

He is about to be a top 5 pick in the MLB draft... Who cares... I'd rather see us win a National championship and do it without the media blowing smoke, least of all our own - we've got a long way to go here but are off to a good start. I guarantee you Nick doesn't want anyone talking about anything other than that.

But on the other hand, it can be a useful recruiting tool if young kids are watching. The more that the media talk about us and our program, the more the myth grows. What's that old saying?Success begets success.

Put it this way... we all have benefited from the nattys in '06/'07, but its been 10 years. We have a good shot this year and would rather see us focus on that than the accolades of one player. I know for sure the further we get in the postseason is more meaningful in the long run than anything the media has to say

Trust Casey. Let the media do what the media do.

Listening to interviews with Nick all season, he is a humble young man. I watched him at Surprise have to be drug away from signing baseballs and taking selfies with kids after games.
The best young HS kids need to hear him talk about OSU, Casey, Goss and his friends on the team.
Nice young men like him need to be hyped... he plays the game the right way.

Madrigal deserves every bit of praise thrown his way. He has come in with high expectations and has delivered in the toughest sport in the world. He is an incredible ambassador for OSU and for the community. My only concern is that we won't get the pleasure of seeing him, in perso, after this season concludes in a major dogpile. You want overexposure and hype, look no further than Sabrina...even her teammates tire of her 'oh look at me' and 'everything goes through me' ball handling and 'team' play.

DALE wonders if you are okay with his hitting lately.....
No worries Mate, the tegers are going to think our hitters are hitting like they were Bat Chit Crazy. Someone once said; just hit'm were they ain't, that's all you guts to do.
