Kind of think if push come to shove we will see them this weekend. Especially if they are a game from elimination. We may see them anyway.

Due to "fatigue" this reeks of gamesmanship to me... I won't "guarantee" you will see them pitch, but it wouldn't surprise me at all...

Why aren't they available?
Book it...this is just more good 'ol boy BS. We'll see BOTH of them this weekend. They are here in Corvallis and travelled with the team at the expense of a capable, able-bodied player who stayed in Baton Rogue (Nick Webre-- a .290BA utility player). This "fatigue" game absolutely reeks of the kind of Psi-Ops nonsense that goes on in a number of conferences in the east. But a hint to Mainieri: PC is hardly some country hick...he pays no attention that sort of mind game crap.

usually when pm makes a statement like this he holds true to it....
just saying Hilliard would have most likely started game 2 or 3...the kid has beaten arkansas, ole miss and auburn to name a few...
one of our pitchers who shut osu down last year has struggled badly all year, he won't pitch either(gilbert), God I hope not...

It helped that he was getting strikes called in the other batters box last year vs OSU. He would have shut down a MLB team getting those ridiculously bad calls.

You can credit him for hitting his spots.. which would make him a good pitcher.

I believe that is a bad umpire not a good pitcher.

I believe that is a bad umpire not a good pitcher. My theory is that if Luke or Jake had been pitching, they might have gotten the same zone. I figured Street just couldn't see a 90+ fastball - but he could see a curve......naw, he just sucked, I am laughing too hard right now trying to rationalize that explanation any further.

Street ruined that game because he knew he could get away with it. Anybody who thinks that ESPN's contract with the SEC has no effect on how their games are reffed/umped is living in dreamland.

I believe that is a bad umpire not a good pitcher. Pitching wherever the strikezone is would be that definition. I'm sorry your pitcher couldn't do that. The ump was terrible for sure. But we took advantage of it, or we paid him. Whichever breaks your heart less
