...we have been plagued with key injuries in the weekend rotation and in the field season wise...
...we have some guys are who still here from last year's run
...we have struggled alot hitting wise
...we lost 4 week days games we shouldn't have because we are very very young in the pen
...we lost 3 weekend conference games we should have won...we could easily be 43-18 but we arent...
...this year the sec is stacked beyond belief and to survive that meat grinder I wouldn't wish on anyone and to simply make a regional is a big accomplishment...
...the fact that we pushed thru the best league in ncaa baseball to the finals of the sec tourney with this young team is big for us...
...our road record sucks however, don't count that in the playoffs, the players come to play on a national stage...
...I've watched some weekend baseball on Oregon State and tbh you guys aren't any different than a 3rd, 4th, 5th place finish in an already large sec, this is no insult by any means I just feel like the competition is much harder in the sec than Pac 12...fact....
...in fact Kentucky who didn't make it into a regional could very well beat u guys with their ace hjelly on the hill...personally I see more than a few teams in our conference that could beat osu....js..
...the fact that we beat y'all twice in the cws last yr and u guys have home field and revenge on your side doesnt fair good for lsu and u guys should win...should...
with that being said we battled from around 50rpi late in season to low 30s by the end of the sec tourney...we usually catch another gear about a month before season is finished, well we didn't hit that extra gear until the sec tourney and I can tell u, I wouldn't wanna play lsu when they hit that extra gear, I've seen it year after year and lsu is in that make a run mode....first off, in the sec lsu faces 90 plus Friday thru Sunday and their absolute best and they are all like beaver pitching so u guys pitching will be nothing new at all(sigh)...5 guys in our lineup this year are the same that faced ur best last year twice and our frosh clean up hitter should make freshman all America this year and can blast..when our tigers got into the sec tourney their was pressure to win one game just to be considered to make a regional, we did by beating miss st...we also beat an on fire USCar team and then beat florida 11-0 after losing to them earlier by one run(1st in rpi) and beat Arkansas(3rpi) with Hess who 1 hit Arkansas in 7 innings of work who are a very good hitting team and beat them 2-1, by that time in the finals our coach had to pitch two freshman, another first year player and another kid who struggled all year long who started in the finals against ole miss, while bianco pitched his ace(majority of innings) and his ace closer...
differences I see now versus the season
we have 3 shut down pitchers
hess(93-95 w/ 3 different grips, if u don't touch him early and gets going he will shut down any team he faces)
Hilliard(87/88 but has a MLB crazy cb)
sanders(0 era over last 6 games or so, 93mph w/ 3 different grips)
bush(lefty 90-91mph fb/cb/change)
closer in Peterson(just gas 95/96, with a nice cb, cocky af)
with the exception velocity wise with hilliard who is amazing as a freshman
, all throw well for strikes 93 to 95mph into the late innings and decent control mixing up 3 different pitches....these guys have opened eyes lately and there adjustments over the last part of season have been more effective, our hitting has grown in some areas and our defense is solid...a host seed Texas can tell u about being swept by lsu this year...our overall weakness is our hitting 1 thru 9 but again that meat grinder of weekends in the sec were nuts, not sure how we will hit out of conference teams....how auburn, arkie and ole miss hit so well is just crazy, even Florida doesn't have great stats hitting wise in sec play...
I'll say this in closing, all these stats people are posting here don't mean squat, these tigers have tradition and are expected everyday to be a champion and next year this team will arguably be one of our best teams we have ever had...for Oregon State, tbh, on paper you guys should beat us..on paper our hitting has been lower than many years, our staff has struggled at times...tbh, if u don't beat us then you were not that good tbw simply because we have struggled all year long and still managed to have 37 wins...anything u throw at us will be nothing new, anything San Diego State throws at us will nothing new...its just another weekend except it's playoffs, u can bet y'all will get hess if we win first game and if the report show u guys like to swing early then pm will throw Hilliard who will get ur feelings hurt with his offspeed and slow approach ...I'm not asking for anyone to trump my post because frankly, I don't care because in the end everyone here is more concerned at how lsu plays than who we play, if we play as well as we did last week, osu is no better than Florida, miss st,Carolina or arkie, we will easily steal the Corvallis regional, if not then we don't and good luck to whomever wins...

I really enjoyed the total scarcity of logic or reason in your rant. I'm more used to the Duck honks coming at us with at least some fast talking spin jobs.
