they are adding another "banners" down the right field line atop the visitors bullpen. more drunks, more juvenile behavior but no more seating capacity. Goss turning into a minor league park. money could be much better spent |

I do hope they take the opportunity to correct the error in not adding restroom facilities when they put banners in. You can't pour 50 kegs a day without anticipating the increased output. |

I do not think it will have permanent serving stations like Banners. Perhaps a beer-only concession, which will help ease the congestion at the current first-base concession stand, but it will not be Banners II.

I don't post often but for this thread, I had to respond.
Goss already is a minor league stadium and a successful one.
They are called the Corvallis Knights. So perhaps these moves are not specifically for the Beavs.
That said, standing room tickets are a great way to add eyes inside the stadium and add revenue.
You need to give those standing some sort of incentive.
I'll be glad to buy your chairback seats from you if a few dullards are so badly ruining your experience.

As long as they also bowl in the stadium by putting up bleachers to the left field foul poll. Would be nice to host a 5000 person crowd - now that would be intimidating!

If true, and I don't ever think OSU would go that far in that PC would have to ok any aspect. I could care less the $ contribution. It's a college team, campus stadium/field... the Knights should have little say in Goss/ facilities... and should feel damn lucky to have such a place to call their home. |
