Did it look like Jack Anderson might have had that but he we being careful? Thats fine. a 2 out single doesnt hurt but a botched double or triple would have.

F9--another can of corn. 1st pitch. At least it wasn't K. Easy 4-3. 2nd pitch. Ripped base hit to left. Anderson saves a double. Base hit to center. deuces wild. 2 on, 2 out Good grief Nate, sit down. He is spotting it well, good team just hitting good pitches. easy grounder, 4U. No harm. BTW, blue has a nice tight zone today and he is consistent. AR has stolen a couple though. I hope Abel is taking notes and soaking it all in. That is how you pitch out of trouble. |

The color guy trotted out this statistic: Beavs hit into more double plays than anyone in the PAC. That seems like something the coaches could adjust for. Maybe take more in that situation? |
