Good job taking care of business against an inferior opponent. Get 'em tomorrow guys!

I feel like I know Brian Anderson pretty well after tonight. Grandma & Grandpa, Hawk Harrelson. Can't forget Coach Lopez. BA might run out of familial material in a 3 game series. Might need to work on some of the teams actually playing right now
meanwhile ....theeeeee Beavs win

I continue to not understand why pull Pearce with 3 run lead...like last time too. Let him go until he allows a baserunner. GRRRRR Two of the first 3 guys are lefty hitters, and all 3 guys hit fastball decently. Tough call, I agree, but the right time in the line-up.

Great job against a guy who held OSU to one run last season (Beavers still won that game). Biggest factor in keeping their offense off balance, keeping the lead off batter off base. Bunting with a runner on and one out isn’t as appealing versus with no outs. And a two out double with bases empty gets easily forgotten when the next guy strikes out. Now, about that circus act in the third...

Now that was the Luke of 2017. Mostly down and fast. That kind of Luke gives us a great chance for Omaha. I tend to agree with TV Folks as Luke was blowing his FB by the best of the Ducks but they were throwing first pitch breaking balls. For a couple of innings he was just over powering. We did leave to many on and really did have a chance to crush the uks.

I continue to not understand why pull Pearce with 3 run lead...like last time too. Let him go until he allows a baserunner. GRRRRR Matthews a lefty who has 40+ Ks, can't hit breaking stuff. Yovan a strikeout machine who also can't hit a curve. Goldfarb a lefty. Inning set up perfectly for Mulholland, and he delivered.

And it wasn't a very taxing evening for Pearce, so he can probably go a bit today if we need him to. Speaking of taxes, when Brian Anderson played for the White Sox, he hired a guy to do his taxes.

Or is he saving that gem for the rest of the weekend? As long as we are in the booth not talking about the game in front of us maybe Bill walton has some spare time. It would be interesting & entertaining

It would be interesting & entertaining I like the part where he mentioned that he openly complained about being sent to Corvallis for the series. (At least he admitted the weather was wonderful compared to what he'd experienced in the past). Oh well. the games are televised and that's much better than NOT being televised, so there's that.
