I was holding it in all game. Hoping they would improve as they got a feel for the game. You know a little homework and all. I finally had to let it go. I'm better now that they are talking pichachu ones'ies Now back to baseball. I think Quintana at 3B is very suspect. 2 bunts and a shot at em. I bet Casey works him the next 2 games But... he thinks he's really good! Stood and pouted, hands on hips... didn't even bother to turn and chase down the ball into the BP... SS had to come all the way to get it. how was his travel ball team? |

Quintana is a prima donna and hasn't lived up to the hype....he's basically a hole player in a wildcat uni

NICE WORK BEAVS! Really nice game. Hung 2 pitches and that was it. Nice work "stealing" one with Fehmel on a Friday night. Looking forward to Luke tomorrow. Also, tip of the cap to messi for the pbp and to baseba1111 for the live looks down in Tuscon. |

So I just saw a replay of Gretler's double that scored Malone. Why was the catcher still holding onto his mask when catching the relay throw? C'mon man, ditch that.

judging by how wild the throws to the plate were, catcher doesn't know where to ditch it.

The catcher always needs to hold onto the hat (mask) until he knows where the ball is headed, always! If you toss it too quickly, all you do is set yourself up to trip over it!
