Per Angie and Beaverblitz, Matt Moore's brother Nick Moore left EWU and is walking on at OSU. Doesn't look like he played his Fr year at EWU, was third QB on the depth chart.
From EWU site: Graduated from Hart HS in 2017. His head coach in high school was Mike Herrington. As a senior he earned Foothill League Offensive Player of the Year honors and was on the Daily News All-Area first team as an all-purpose player. Moore also earned first team All-Santa Clarita Valley honors as selected by The Signal. He completed 58.2 percent of his passes (166-of-285) for 2,102 yards (191.1 per game) and 21 touchdowns. He also rushed 173 times for 713 yards (4.1 per carry) and 15 more scores, thus accounting for 36 touchdowns with 2,815 yards of total offense in 11 games (255.9 per game). He had at least 224 passing yards in six games, including a high of 309 and three touchdowns versus Arroyo when he completed 23-of-31 passes. He also had 79 yards rushing in that game to give him 388 yards of total offense. He had four TD passes and 285 yards against Ventura. He rushed for at least 100 yards twice, including 151 and two touchdowns against West Ranch when he also had 252 yards and three TDs passing to finish with a season high of 403 yards of total offense. He led Hart to an 8-3 record and berth in the CIF Southern Section Division 3 Playoffs where it lost 34-17 to Cathedral. He also started as a sophomore and again as a junior until suffering an ACL knee injury. He had 1,307 yards passing and 420 rushing with 19 total touchdowns in the 2015 season. The Indians finished 7-4 and lost to Mission Viejo 49-14 in the playoffs that year. In 2014, Hart finished 8-4 including a 30-22 playoff win over Edison and a 52-21 loss to Upland in the second round. He attended EWU football camp, enabling the coaching staff to get a closer recruiting look at him. Listed as a two-star recruit by scout.com.
Anyone have any updates about Spring practice so far? It's crickets, I need a fix.

Even with Matt Moore being a star here, the CGA regime was not appealing to QBs... He is a walk on and not expected to push for a starting job or anything, but having JS and Riley as coaches has to be more appealing to him. Any word on CJS's practice policies? opened? closed? I haven't really read into it.

Who knows if he can play. Time will tell, but EWU's track record in evaluating QBs is pretty solid. And walkons cost us very little.
Hard to believe there are some who still think hiring Riley back was a mistake.

Yah true. I watched his highlight tape from senior year of highschool and he is definitely an athlete. Can really run it. Definitely shows flashes of an arm as well. Worst case scenario we could use his make em miss at other positions

There are some full scale tinfoil hat conspiracies over there - granted it's from the same 3 or 4 muppets. I think my favorite deep state conspiracy is that MR is really the head coach and CJS is merely a puppet. Because Angry knows a guy at Arby's who talked to a guy whose roommate has a brother that was playing ultimate frisbee at Reser and is certain that this cover up goes ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP. One day, it will all be EXPOSED.

I try to avoid negative people whenever possible. That may be a naive, unrealistic approach to life, but it also stops me from ever wasting one second of my life at that site. And makes me a much happier Skrimmer.

You, sir, are no Reser ultimate player! ...well... unless you were, and played much more recently than I did... when the play got higher level... yeeeahh...

The last time an EWU QB came to our state, it worked out well. Now it's our turn! Might as well get the classic MR QB in hand and then get some more of them when they are going this cheap AKA walk-ons.
Looking forward to spring practice!

Just found an article on his signing with EWU stating OSU was his dream school and GA had attended one of his games but apparently it didn’t go anywhere. I think this was an easy get once GA was gone.id be curious if he’s still 6’1” or if he’s added some size since high school.

Matt was on the Joe Beaver show yesterday and said that his brother is about 6'1" 190 lbs. Matt also said, he is more of a dual threat than he was.

Given GA's vapid incompetence with QBs, I think the fact he passed on Moore practically guarantees he will be our next record breaking QB. I like the sound of this more and more every day!
