Beavs win 3-2 in 11. Good guys tie it in the bottom of 9 with a double by Grenier and a single by Kwan. We win it when with two outs and the bases loaded Adley hits a ball to shallow left, center fielder charges to make the play....and fails to catch the ball when he looks up to see if the runner is tagging...

I guess everyone went to bed like I did after the walk-off error. Got up this morning to see the comments and all we got is 56chevy's recap of the 11th. Weird.
I did not see the final play clearly and did not see the CF look for a runner tagging. You normally do not do that with 2 outs me thinks. Gotta keep your head in the game especially with the bases loaded my boy.
I wonder if he walked back to the hotel.
Edit: Okay, I remember now.......the board went belly up in the 10th and 11th. No wonder everyone went to bed.
Missed played balls by the left fielder in the 9th and the center fielder in the 11th allow the Beavs to escape with the win. Very, very lucky last night.

Free forums crashed. Missed out the big come back. I was going to remark in the 9th how OSU hasn't had a base hit to the outfield since the second, and that our big bats are a combined 0-10.
The one most enjoying this win is Andy Jenkins.

Good pitching (11 ip, 4 h) - but edgy at times (5 bb, 4 hp, 1 wp) + Excellent defense...and luck.

Help me out here guys...seems to me there was a force play to be had at any of the bases on that dropped fly ball by the CF. He shoulda thrown to second or third for the force out...run is nullified...correct?
