Awesome win, the ladies continue to impress. I wish Marie had another year, but if one of the new interior recruits can be a force the supporting cast is going to be that much stronger. Amazing.

I kept looking for panic in Rueck's or Marie's eyes. Nothing. That is incredible coach and player.

She should have fouled out at about 3:20 in the fourth, if not earlier. She knocked Pivec into the second row going for a loose ball.

As much as I want the Pac-12 to win, it seems we have a coaching advantage over teams that haven't played us. Like Squonk said earlier, 'we're playing with house money' so who cares. Next one up. MB.

Rumor has it that Kim Mulkey suffered an acute migraine in the locker room after the game. They rushed her to the ER and did an MRI. Sure enough, there it was, a perfect image of a smiling Scott Rueck in her brain. MB.

Baylor lost their starting PG and are playing a Frosh.
"OSU has beaten 3 top ten teams, Baylor has played 1 and lost.
The Beav's have won two games in the tourney and hasn't even played especially well.
So long as Marie and Taya don't get into foul trouble and Taya keeps rebounding like she has, and one guard has a hot day shooting the 3 I don't see how Baylor wins. But that's me, I figure past results have some connection to future games.
And I was born a Beaver (boy was mom surprised)"
Can't believe Taya fobbed off her rebounding duties onto Kat. Otherwise, I'm amazing.

Someone needs to go on the ESPN "conversation" thread about the game and correct some of those folks... some are getting Oregon State and Oregon mixed up, confused, or merged into one team. I quit facebook so I can't add a comment. Here is an example:
Comment: "Wow... What a game. Certainly don't consider this an upset. Oregon State is a very good team. OSU has the potential to take that trophy!!!! Response: "And they beat a darn good team in Minnesasota who is one of the top socring teams in the nation. No a real upset or surprise here, especially with Baylor losing their floor (PG) leader, Kristy Wallas and it showed with the loss of composure."
What an idiot. yeah, beating Baylor was not a surprise...after all, OSU beat a darn good team in Minnesota. SMH.
I read through UCONN's thread about the OSU-Baylor game, and several folks were mixing up OSU with Oregon too. For, example, several folks referred to OSU as Oregon and one person mentioned the good win we had in the conference finals. (((fortunately this person was corrected)))

Ok, I intentionally didn't watch this game because I didn't think I could handle the stress. I did, however, wear the same Beaver tee shirt all day I wore when we beat Tennessee. I will be honest, I didn't think we could pull this game off so I didn't check the score on my phone until it was halftime when I saw we were down only 2. Then the nerves kicked in when it was obvious it was anyone's game. I took the fam out to dinner and checked the score again and saw we were up 2, maybe, at end of 3. Oh boy! Now I was really pumped. My son took my phone and now he was into checking the score. The rest is history!! Amazing!! I told my wife I might have a basketball-man-crush on Rueck. He's just such a coaching stud. I hope OSU admin. realizes that they have a literal Hall of Fame coach on their payroll and they need to do whatever it takes to keep him happy and paid what he deserves because there are several Elite programs in this country that would be happy to double his salary to coach their team. I'm just so stoked and high on this team and THIS PROGRAM! We are a dominant player away (like a POY caliber) from being a legitimate National Championship team. We already have the HC for it, we just need to up our recruiting just a hair to get us there. This is sad to say but it's just amazing that we have THIS kind of program right here at our alma mater and with a coach that bleeds Orange.
GO BEAVS!!

The UConn thread is very entertaining. They realize, like we do, what a gem Scott Rueck is, and how special the city of Corvallis for college athletics.
