Curiosity question: does anyone know if Cal plans on updating their yard? Evans diamond is cool in an old school way, but... Good question. With Cal's deep financial problems, I doubt it. Serious baseball talent. Baseball bailed out after the cancellation plans. The least they could do is stream the darned games. |

Radar shows some pretty solid rain moving through the area, but it may be ending shortly, game may not get started for another half to one hour tho.

The rain delay music they play on the BSN is the musak in Satan's waiting room in hell. In an endless loop I like the little glitch in the recording as the loop starts over  Michael Bolton anyone?  |

Abel walks two out of first three batters he faces....including walking in a run. 3-2 Cal after 6. Next time Casey (who of course is at the Hotel)/Yeskie may not give him that much rope if his control is not tighter.

The bottom of the 6th showed the Kevin Abel problem. I am not an ump critic, but Abel has too good of curve for college umps. This curve has been described as MLB quality. It is sharp and late. By Parker's description, this is what happened in the 6th.
