This team is streaky to the max. One day they will look like world beaters and the next game they will look like an average team. Streaky shooting and average to poor defense at times. If the Beavers can't hit the three they will have a hard time winning games. If a big part of your game is the three point shot and you can't hit them when you are open, then that doesn't bode well. I know, the Beavers are the number one in shooting three pointers but its an average. A little bit of a skew when one game they hit almost everyone they shoot and the next they can't hit hardly any of them even though they are wide open. The old saying live by the three and die by the three applies to this team.

Wow some of you need to get a grip! You make it seem like we will never win another game again. That was a terrible game, but we are still in the tourney with a good shot at advancing. And next year we have the 6th ranked player coming along with destiny and Morris. We are going to be really good again. Losing Marie hurts but really? Lost the state for the foreseeable future? I really don’t think so. I'm not saying the Lady Beavs won't be any good next season, but there is now a big difference between simply being good and being the best team in the state. The Lady Ducks were the best team in the Pac-12 this season. Next season they will be returning 3 all-Pac-12 players, one of which was Pac-12 Player of the Year. In addition to those 3 players, they will be returning the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year. In addition to those 4 players, they will be adding the 2016 Gatorade National Player of the Year. The Ducks will be the overwhelming favorites to win the Pac-12 next season, and the season after that. Unless there are some unforeseen setbacks (injuries, etc.), a three-peat in Eugene looks likely. Beyond that is more up in the air, depending on whether or not they can maintain this level of recruiting.

I had a bad feeling when I saw the team sightseeing while other teams were playing. It was a flashback to the baseball team's trip to the Omaha Zoo during the CWS. Really? They’ve always done the little Pike Place stroll including the year they won it and the 2 years they made the finals and took second. If you know Seattle, they stayed at the Westin which is easy walking distance (4 blocks) to Pike Place Market. The whole jaunt probably took them an hour at most. You can’t keep a bunch of young people cooped up in their hotel rooms. goo.gl/maps/SuGEfPYZX9T2Now if they’d gone to Mt Rainier or Snoqualmie Falls Lodge, you might have a point.

The trip was on Thursday. Had no impact whatsoever on last night.

There’s no need to differentiate this way on a Women’s Sports forum.
