Looks like a lot more than a new center-hung video was proposed; new baseline video/score boards, new video ‘ribbons’ for Reser, and a new video/score board for the softball complex. Anyone know whether we are going with the full package?

Very nice. Question: Will this have any effect on folk’s overall view from the nosebleeds? Like taking the young grandkids up there. A little more room to be kids😄. Thanks

Thanks There is a cross section drawing in the package showing lines of sight from topmost rows. No effect on view of court or benches. |

My nephew, a huge UA fan was at Gill last week for our game with his Wildcats. His comments to me were quite complimentary in regards to Gill, the building and sight lines for viewing a basketball game. But he did mention how "tired" Gill looked inside and the need for a new center hung video scoreboard and stat boards. He also mentioned our collection of 'old outdated, poorly positioned, banners, saying they should all be renewed and be repositioned because "recruits look at such things like that". I tend to think he is right. How much could it cost to renew and reorganize those old banners before they are rehung around the new video scoreboard? I would also like to see some new subtle lighting focused on the murals painted high on the walls inside Gill. Just my two bits.

HAHA, our new video board is going to be widescreen while the one in TTATT is stuck as a 4:3. Take that duck fans. Scoreboard smack rules. |
