Overall, the team's hitting stats look disturbing (for other teams), unreal. Sure we were not facing the same overall level of pitching that we will in conference, but I have never seen an 8 game stretch like that from any Beaver club in the dead metal bat era - let alone any club.

Maybe this years’ hitting can be remarkable in the manner that last years pitching was. 5 of 8 regular starting position players currently above .435 obp. Of course that is lead by the now absent Madrigal....but doesn’t include Kwan who is on the rise to put it mildly.
