Taya C. 11 points, 9 rebounds. Good work TC. She may have been the difference with how everyone else shot it and turned it over.

Tough, tough, tough WIN! Hard on old fellers like moi. But...I'll take it. BTW...I'm not one to EVER blame officiating...but these "officials" SUCKED! Just blatant bull-s%#t incompetence. Rant fini... Personal fouls were USC 17 to OSU 10. So I can’t complain much about the officiating.

This was the Pac 12's all star team of bad officials. Two of them accounted for three of Rueck's technical fouls this year.

From my perspective, SC could have been called for more than twice that number of fouls. The refs let them hack, body, and lean on the Beavs all game long. Marie probably got fouled on almost every possession herself. Pivec got beat up pretty good too. SC is the kind of team we are very vulnerable to if it is a loosely called game. That said, another great win for this team and a great way to send Marie out. I hope we get to see her here again post season.

At least this time she was on the same end of the court, last time she was at the opposite free throw line and CR had his back to her and was at his seat on the bench.
That ref has worked at most conferences and even the nba, never for long though. At a benefit event in Las Vegas she was so bad that a professional player threw the ball at her, she filed charges against him.
Good to see our girls holding tough in the face of adversity.

Exactly. u$c SHOULD have had MANY more fouls called against them. Many, many more. Trakh knew they wouldn't call them all. The ONLY way they could win was to be OVERLY aggressive, and the morons in stripes reinforced his thinking. Pathetic.

Unless we fold I would be surprised if we didn't host the first 2 rounds. With our attendance records and we should move up in the rankings to 12th or 13th hopefully higher. I will be there.

We need to win the next five games, then I would expect to host. Our rpi is just not high enough. Winning the Pac 12 tournament will give us the best shot.

Beavers must go 5-0 and hope they face 2 of the 3 top teams in the Pac 12 during the Pac 12 tournament.
The selection committee weighs a team's RPI heavily and as of 2-17 OSU's was/is 43rd. It probably won't change much by Monday, since USC's RPI is only 48. I have no doubt that Oregon (RPI 8th), UCLA (RPI 10th), and Stanford (RPI 13th) will host their first 2 rounds as being among the top 16 tournament seeds, so what will it take for 4th team from the same conference to also host??? One would think the Beavers need to be in the RPI top 20 or 25 at least. A win over ASU (RPI 39) might help a little, but a win over Arizona will not help at all and will probably hurt (RPI 279!!!) just because they play(ed) them. So, OSU must also meet and beat 2 of the top 3 teams in the Pac-12 tournament to have any chance at all. That is, they must hope Stanford, Oregon, and/or UCLA don't get upset before OSU gets a chance to face them and then OSU must beat both (one in the semis and 1 in the finals).
