Roster still sitting at 40, need to get down to 35 today. Hopefully no surprises like last year.

The surprise cut from last year is looking good and strong. No limp for Nobach. He is cheating though in that I swear he is taking BP cuts with all groups. Maybe DH indication?

One can tell that Atwood is gone as Cadyn is sporting a different haircut and still wearing the batting glasses he wore last Fall.

Looking at the lineup and the bench on the Live Stats link, the unfortunate 5 not to make the team are:
P Logan Hatley C Jordan Mambaje IF Zach Busalacchi IF George Mendazona OF Darius Foster

George makes sense. Very good player, but if he sits out he actually gets a clear shot next season. No PT at his best spots this season. Hopefully, not injured.

C Jordan Mambaje is not cut but injured. He had a great fall and should be back in a few weeks.

C Jordan Mambaje is not cut but injured. He had a great fall and should be back in a few weeks. He was not on the 35 man roster today and I believe you can't change it once the season starts. He may be injured and not "cut" but he did not make the final roster.

Totally makes sense for Darius Foster too...hopefully he's cool with getting the redshirt year but with 2 great Juniors and 2 Seniors in OF as well as Jones, he wasn't going to get playing time so might as well red shirt and get after it next year.

George can redshirt this year and get a lot more playing time next year when the middle infielders are playing pro ball.

Alex McGarry also no longer shows on the roster published with today's game notes, roster stands at 34.
He was listed for the first two games, then removed for Cal Poly.
Anyone know anything?

Anyone know anything? Interesting. I watched McGarrY taking infield on the Rangers facility on Friday, and he was definitely not out there yesterday. Hopefully, we don't see an Oregonian report. Lol. With the way Zak Taylor is playing, innings at first for other guys might be in short supply. I was a little surprised to see Zak get the start rather than McGarry against the New Mexico righty, but Zak looked fine.
