If duck fans are going to be allowed to post here, this board is going to lose any value it has for me very quickly. I understand that this is not my board, so that is the decision I make. It's up to the owner of the board to make the rules for the board. I simply do not want to swim in the same water as ducks. This ^^^^^ Don’t let the door hit you on the way out. |

So what am I missing? I read one message that says this is for Beaver sports and take other non-BEAVER posts to a different spot and now all I hear from you is that the uck posters are welcome to gasconade on their program. I might be able to tolerate the uck program if it didn't stand for everything that is wrong in college sports. By the way aren't they about to receive some penalty sanctions for their cheating (again) or has Uncle Phil taken care of those minor improprieties of failure to follow the rules and standards/

Now that I have a minute, let me expand slightly my take on the topic of Duck fans at Benny's House. Basically we have one poster on Benny's House that is openly a Duck fan. green85 He's been around for years, on BF.com and eDuck. Over his time here and the previous boards, he's been rational, intelligent, unoffensive, complimentary towards OSU and many other positive adjectives I don't have the time to come up with. If you can't handle the perspective of a good Duck fan, you probably need to re-think your life choices.  In my opinion it's beneficial to have a check on the outright orange colored goggles that many Beaver faithful seem to wear. On the fear that Benny's House will be "overrun" by Duck fans. It will not happen. So get over it. Additionally, I pretty much let anyone join here (except for the Russian bots that are very persistent with registering). There's no way to verify anyone's true allegiances. We have Tigers, Coogs, Badgers, Golden Gophers, Utes, etc as registered members. So while the focus here is, and always will be OSU, it's good to mix it up with others to keep things in perspective. Go Beavs! |

I would point out that members of this board also have the ability to block some interactions. I have used this feature because while I can "handle the perspective of a good Duck fan", I don't come to this board for that. I come here to wallow in Beaver-dom.......Others may make different life choices, as is their prerogative. Go Beavers! |
