Well that was a disappointing turn out, I guess the team took the Friday win and called it good for the year. Yes, MG was double and triple teamed but plenty other players in the team to go to that are wide open. With that said everyone else looked lost, maybe blindsided by the Oregon speed in the beginning. One X-Factor that Oregon did have that showed up today was Sabally (quiet on Friday) but Ruthie Hebard also had the worst game of her life to balance that out. Still not sold on her being that great of a player without Ionescu passing to her like she does. A good defense should be able to shut her down. Made a big run at the end, but Oregon fell asleep for the last half. "I guess the team took the Friday win and called it good for the year" Hyperbolize much?

Beavers WBB team BEAT a top 10 team this weekend. First time that’s happened with this squad this season. They held their own, and then some, in an OT after having a 4th quarter victory denied with just 2 or 3 seconds on the 4th Quarter clock. That near 4th quarter victory occurred despite the Beaver WBB team trailing tsdtr WBB team 5 times in the final 5 minutes of the 4th Quarter. Gut Check Performance Supreme !! The Beaver WBB also LOST this weekend, to a top 10 team, on that teams home court. It was a dam damn good weekend.

I was shocked to see that our RPI is so low, like not-make-it-into-the-tourney low. How can we be ranked in the top-20, have only 4 losses and have an RPI of 55 (I think it was)?

And the OT win is one of my favorite games of the SR era (recency effect aside) for all of the reasons you articulated. Two 4-point plays in one game? Kat dropping 34? Marie going for 28? How far have those two come? KTMac's enthusiasm after her 4 pointer? And actually - my favorite moment of the Friday game - watching the 5 starters huddling before tip off, and the smiles on their faces as they break the huddle......people who really care for each other, enjoying the moment, genuinely happy - it was a magic moment (if you recorded the game, it is there for posterity). Getting a split was about as positive of an outcome as I thought possible, so I agree with your assessment - a dam good weekend. Only flies in the ointment - the Dish guide claimed gymnastics were being broadcast on the Pac-12 channel, so I watched on Sling and didn't record the game in unedited, live format (nor did my standing "record all things OSU" directive to my DVR), so I only have a compressed/edited encore version recorded and somehow SI's 3 pointer to send the game to overtime was one of the Pac-12 best plays of the week (over the two 4 point plays). Go Beavers!
