Loved watching the game at home and streaming Parker via radio feed rather than listen to FS1. These guys were up for the game and we had some fantastic play from several different players. Eubanks is a beast, that's all I've got to say about that. It's a great weekend to say FTD!

69 would not have been enough for this game...LOL! Who saw this coming when the season started? Such a reversal of fortune and for a change we are the ones going forward while Oregon is the team in reverse. Hope springs eternal! Now to see how we do with UA/ASU, UCLA/USC and the rematch in Eugene. Was this a one-off or the start of something big? I still think the ceiling for this team is much higher. Lots of raw athleticism to work with. Ethan has a long ways to go, and he will only get better. Kone is just now shaking off the rust. He shows a good understanding of the game and has the tools to get a lot better. I didn't realize that Berger was hurt for his sophomore season at UMass. Throw in Tres, and there's a couple guys who had their growth stunted, and can probably still develop as individual players. Big Glig will be back eventually, and we'll need him down the stretch with how short the bench is for bigs. Drew can't be putting in 38 min shifts all season. I think these guys have a real shot at the dance if they keep coming together and continue the team development. Might not be a "young" team in terms of age, but they certainly are in terms of time spent playing together. Mercurial performances like Utah on Sunday to the Civil War on Friday is exactly the kind of thing you see from a team that is just finding it's stride. I expect them to continue to get better as a unit. Who'd of thunk it? I guess Tink can coach a little. Top 6 finish in the Pac possible? Why not? Anything less than an NIT berth would be a disappointment for these guys IMO. Gnaw on Beavs!

Can we win 8 of the last 15? 10 and 8 in the Pac and 18-12 is an outside shot at the dance. a decent run in the tourney can help that. I would be stunned and very disappointed if we didn't finish with at least 8 Pac-12 wins at this point. This team has come along significantly. Our defense over the last couple games is night and day better.

I had given up about 4 weeks ago, terrible defense, not moving on offense, no enthusiasm or energy. They just looked lost. I said I would come back if a miracle came about. This may not be a miracle yet, nor is the team the 72-73 Bruins, but the turnaround has been abrupt and pleasant. I have to commend the team and coaches on working hard and making great improvement. Not saying it had anything to do with J.M. leaving personally, but I think the staff has worked harder since his loss.
Here's hoping they continue to prove me wrong. It's along season and if they continue to improve, I see some fun in come March.

One and Dones, transfers, wash-outs are the norm for college basketball. To have a starting rotation of 3rd year and 4th year players with experienced players coming off the bench is a big edge. The true test will be on the road though. Have to sneak up on zona to have a chance but i think catching AssU on the back end after they nuke the dux will be our shot at the road split. 3-2 after week three is doable.

Would have to defend home court and pick up a couple road wins. I think they have the potential to do it. Everyone in the conference looks beatable right now. One game at a time.

Two of those road games are against Cal and Stanford, who even though they look to have been playing better since the start of conference play, are still two very beatable teams. Another two are against the Washington schools, who have not impressed me in the games of theirs I've watched. Washington is improved from the early season, and they did beat Kansas, but I think 2-3 wins out of those four games is not unreasonable. We get the Arizona schools both on the road and at home which will help RPI, and getting a win or two there would be a significant resumé booster. There's still a chance at turning this season into a pretty big success if they keep playing like they have in the last 3 games. Should be fun to watch.

Headline reads: Beavers' celebration comes at Ducks' expense.
"Put it on my bill!" said the bird...LOL!
