We are for sure struggling. Where do you begin? Defense? We cant stop the dribble drive or the 3 point shot.... pick one to take away?
Or quit making turnovers....maybe another key to winning?

Did stevie get fouled on that last bankmshot? Nomreplay before they signed off either. Could've called it maybe, but not surprising they didn't. In pretty much every college basketball game I've ever watched, save the game against Utah 2 years ago when Stevie hit 3 free throws to win the game, officials might as well just not be on the court for the last 5-10 seconds of a game. Unless someone is literally tackled nothing ever gets called. Regardless, we didn't deserve to win this game the way we played tonight and I probably still would be as upset about it as I am had we pulled it out.

Berger had 5 TOs, Ethan was 0-7 from the field and also had 5 TOs and 5 fouls, Drew still doesn't look very good and I'm surprised he's playing as much as he is, Stacy was 1-5 from the line, Stevie and Ethan are the only 2 players who had an assist.... The list goes on. There's a lot wrong with this team right now and there really isn't only one thing to fix. Hopefully the break is good for these guys and they come out firing for 3 home games to start Pac-12 play but there isn't much to inspire me right now other than a couple of good individual efforts from Tres and Stevie tonight.

I can't stand watching this team..... ...I can't either. Especially when there is a GOOD Beaver Basketball team on Campus - With a Good Coach. Why waste my time with this one? Confession: I didn't actually watch this game, but did checked back in on-line just in time to digest the loss. And speaking of good teams/good coaches, it just gets better in mid-Feb., when another Very Good NCAA Beaver team begins play, in Arizona - and that team also happens to have a good coach. I hear ya... We need one of the two major sports teams to do SOMETHING though. Football or men's basketball, regardless of perception within beaver nation, are the two big draws in college sports and right now both are irrelevant. I thought basketball was getting somewhere, but I don't know what to think now. It's so frustrating knowing what some of these guys are capable of and having seen them perform well in the past, to then watch them lay an egg like this one. It's mind boggling to me and I can't figure it out.

Looking right down the barrel......0-18.....sucks i guarantee 0-18 is not going to happen. Most pac 12 teams are going to have enough talent or coaching to get by the beavs but not all of them. maybe 5 or 6 wins is expected. Beavs do have 3 conference ready players. There will be games that is enough for the win.

It's mind boggling to me and I can't figure it out. What this guy said..... Yeah, I know it's cute to pretend like we don't care about the men's team....but frankly, we need them to do better. And they are fully capable. I think that's what's so unbelievably frustrating, is that they have the talent to be AT MINIMUM a .500 team in conference. But they can't get out of their own way. I was impressed by how astute the Kent St. commentator was on ESPN3 at diagnosing our problems (turnovers, impatient, herky-jerky offense, etc...) . I think most folks outside the program see us as having quite a bit of potential..... And seriously, whoever said we'd go 0-18....please. Hyperbole much? This game should have been a win....absolutely....my frustration is its result is forcing me to acknowledge we're destined to be a .500 team opposed to something more.

Looking right down the barrel......0-18.....sucks We're not good, but we're not as bad as last year, and even then we managed not to go 0-18. I haven't watched a lot of the nonconference games, but there are a lot of bad-mediocre conference teams this year. WSU, Cal, Stanford, Utah, Colorado, etc.

I still think there's a good chance we could come out of the first 3 games 2-1. 1-2 is probably the most likely scenario, I'd be shocked if it was 0-3 or 3-0.

sky is falling after we lost by 1 point to Kent St on the road Not a total surprise.. OSU losing only validates everyone here who thinks the team is no good..why do you think there is always a disproportionate number of posts when they lose as compared to when they win?...if OSU wins then it gives them very little or nothing to bitch about.. funny part is that I see plenty of posts from people who say the team is totally unwatchable and are done with them or only going to watch the women's team or wait for baseball to start ... yet they continue to watch them and post about it.

Portland State has good team this season they are 9-3..only games they lost were to Duke ,Butler and Oregon close on the road..in the PK80 they played Duke tough.. and lost by just 2 to Butler and beat Stanford
