Very cool work by the OSU Sports Information Department and/or WBB program. Santa's little helper is 6'8" and shoots a team- and PAC-12-leading 66.7% from the field.

Anyone else find it weird to include "Polish"?
Are they going to label Marie "German"? Maddie American?
Seems weird and unnecessary...

Of all the things to troll about. No, it's not weird to point out where the foreign students are from. What's weird is that they don't know how the song goes. It should have been,
"On the FIRST day of Christmas, Coach Rueck brought to Gill, a shot-blocking center named Jo"
or something like that.

Everyone who get or follows OSU WBB knows where are players are from. Those who have no idea don't really care and can easily look it up. So, posting opinion on what one thinks is weird, and wondering if others think it is too is "trolling"? Lol... best figure out what trolling really is.

Whatever, baseba1111. 99% of the population sees that and thinks, "How adorable!". You see it and think, "Polish is weird". The negativity gets old.

First... never said anything negative about the premise (swipe 1st had penis... must have known who this was too!). Second, it was a question to others which you simply could have answered or ignored. So, the only negativity was instigated by you! Have a great day đ

gnij gĆowÄ z tyĆka Canadian Hammer? How soon we forget.. I bet Jo is proud to be Polish. And Poland is proud of her. Safe to say you are the ONLY one who finds calling a Polish citizen Polish "weird". So congratulations, I guess.

Anyone else find it weird to include "Polish"? Are they going to label Marie "German"? Maddie American? Seems weird and unnecessary... not weird (she is from Poland)...unnecessary? Mmmmm Maybe, but I take it as a ++++ that the Beavs can recruit worldwide. I do know this: FOR MOST D1 TEAMS, she would be a starting center, and the Beavs are fortunate to have her as a part of this teamâs incredible depth. Speaking of depth, I have never seen a college menâs or womenâs team that had as many 3 pt threats in starting lineup+bench.

Although there was no international recruiting with her, she was in the US. But, I get the point... plus adding the Aussie next year.

So âPolishâ and âXmasâ are somehow incompatible? Hardly. BoĆŒe Narodzenie Joanna (Merry Christmas Joanna) BTW, the Christmas Market in Krakow (Joâs hometown) is beautiful.

And here is the next installment in the series..... I have no position on the inclusion of country of origin on Day 11, but I do agree with the "how adorable" aspect of this. What a great, class-act athletic program we have on our hands. (I am also reflecting on the pictures posted from the Stonybrook visit).
Go Beavers!
