It was a bad call. But why even touch the wrist? Looks like they have a less intelligent defender than Reid hahaha If you touch the shooters wrist... that's a foul.

Wow! How many games have ended with TWO 3pt fouls?
and both with all 3pts made to put each team ahead. Might be a first. Just crazy.
and Kudos to ST for canning the FTs!!

That was not even close to a foul wow horrible call It was a foul by Reid. I'm a very very bias OSU fan so Announcers seemed to waffle, hard call I saw nothing but a hand tippy tap. he shouldn't have made that play though Art. 2. It shall be legal for a defender to accidentally hit the hand of a ball- handler when reaching to block or slap the ball when there is player control with that player’s hand in contact with the ball and when that player is: a. A dribbler; b. Attempting a try for field goal; or c. Holding the ball.

Gutty win! Before both fouls, we had played our way back from 10 down to 2 ahead. That is not something we've seen from OSU for a long time - we are usually done against good teams with a deficit late. I admit I nearly shut it off with the deficit and had zero faith. Utah had won 5 straight, 3 on the road, so that was something to give rhem a loss even at home.
Reid nearly cost us, but being able to draw the 4th foul on Jakob was the difference. We had no answers when they ran the offense through him, and when he did get back, they never got back into rhythm with him.
Btw, love how well Utah sets on-ball screens and rolls off them - hope we were taking notes. Our screen setting ability (and using them properly) is miles behind.

A nice win, but our inside defense is horrible. Colorado will eat us up if they don't work on that. Thompson was clutch in 2nd half. Need to feed him the ball more. He just knows how to score. Good to see big G have a good game, need him to develop more. We got lucky, but a win is a win.
GO BEAVS!

Weird game all the way thru... Has anyone every seen a team make 18 layins/dunks... 6 threes... 15 free throws... and ZERO mid-range shots/jumpers of any kind???

It was clearly Utah's game plan to pound it into Poeltl and dish to Kuzma if he got help, and it was plenty effective. Still, Eubanks held his own at times, and forced Poetl to turn it over some. Poeltl is being projected as a top 10 NBA draft pick, so no surprise he would own Eubanks at times and make our interior D look 'horrible'. I'm seeing Eubanks get overpowered much less than he was, and leverage much better as well ... but obviously still very much a work in progress.
