Against Utah Valley....admittedly no comparison with ND talent-wise, the 3 new Beavs scored 24 pts....against ND they scored 2, on 1-7 shooting. Zero m.p. for Goodman? - maybe because Kalmer was having such a good game. Corosdale looked like an average Freshman. Long spells of not getting Marie the ball in good position, plus ND offensive rebounding and the very talented Jackie Young spelled doom for the Beavs. Still a good competitive game to watch. Beav women always fun to see If S.R. would have put goodman in, in the last 3 min of the game, I wonder if she could have dropped a couple of 3s like she did in the last game. She was hot from the 3 pt line.

Curious to know what ya'll thought. Were we out-physicalled? Were the lady lamers more athletic? Hated missing it and hated seeing the final. The number of offensive rebounds that ND got was amazing and not in a good way. That and the way they were able to finish at and around the rim was the difference IMHO. Seemed like our shots would go bounce, bounce out and theirs would go bounce, bounce in and when theirs did not drop they were always in the right position for the rebound. Ugh. Hopefully we can learn to clean that up!
