All the season tickets for next year have been sold already - those temp bleachers they put in over the Beav's bullpen/batting cages for the Regional/Super Regionals this year need to be made permanent, with direct access to the concessions - that would be a relatively inexpensive way to add another 500 seats.

Only the infield seats are sold out. Still plenty of seats in the outfield for sale. Until those are sold out I cant see the need for expanding

Collecting the sure $ for season tix is the thing to do, but the number of empty seats at times is embarrassing knowing that those are not walk up sales. I realize it is the right to those that have the disposable income to use it as they'd like, but there are some around me that come to 5-6 'big" games and don't even try to have their tix utilized when they are not coming. Not even the advent of being to go online and posting them/giving them to the B&G club seems too much work.

But if I did have the money, then I would go to every game instead of selling roughly half of my season tickets for baseball.

Let's go UP instead of back (outfield). UP, UP, UP! Down the baselines....UP!..Above the box!...UP!

I believe the last plan I read was for permanent seating in right field, with boxes. I believe that was in an interview with Casey that Eggers did?

Those are the plans that I saw, except I don't remember any boxes. They were planning a concourse that extends over the visitors bullpen and connects to permanent right field seats.

Have an engineer friend who told me that Goss is designed for a second tier behind the plate and down the lines. Still cheaper to fill in the lower bowl first tho.

If a ticket holder knows they will not be at the game, have a number they can call and give their okay to sell the tickets at the going rate to who ever wants them. The dollar amount might not be that great, but it will fill the very visible seats and bring in a few extra bucks. Too much work?? I'd bet that more than a few fans would be checking the extra board every game for good seats at a fair price. Or, if it's the same seats most of the time have an admin person call the seat owners and ask them to do the program a favor. What good fan could say no?

Not sure about baseball, but I think any tix can be posted like for basketball and football on Stub Hub. There is a Stub Hub link on the BEAVER site to post tix. Most just don't do it.

Agree with Lebaneaver on Goss expansion, need to go Up, Up. I support a new permanent concrete grandstand that wraps around from 1st base to 3rd base, adding several rows of premium seating and once and for all, getting rid of the aluminum erector set BDC left for us.

Pat Casey had the final say about the erector set, not BDC. It was designed by a buddy of his from Salem, I believe.
That said, the entire grandstand above the concourse should be removed and rebuilt with a roofed grandstand that loads top-down, removing the staircases that clog up the concourse.
Of course, without a designated donation to pay for it, they will add another $200 to what is already the most expensive season ticket in the Pac-12.

Isn't there a redesign of Washington Way(?) that would impact the support structure for an upper level. Specifically the fire lanes down each line. IIRC prof laid it out pretty well.

Not exactly sure what you mean by build up but that seems like it'd be very expensive to tear down existing seats, press box, and would you have to tear down the existing brick wall too? Is there even enough room to do any of that?
