Actually seems to be a Mike Leach comment. Mike Leach would tell a reporter that a player is playing even if the player had lost a limb. Warning Danny Moran tweet.... but GA has no idea why his 4 star WR didn't play. Clearly the visor is cutting off circulation - that's the only logical answer. This needed a follow up question. What is he doing during the game?

I can't overstate how much I hate the Andersen era. Aside from the abysmal performance on the field, which is legendary, there's so much more to despise. The terrible personnel decisions, the lack of transparency (closed practices, not making people available). The cliches in place of accountability. I knew something was up with this shady clown early on when Caleb Smith, a TE McShay had ranked no. 4 on his TE draft board, had a s%#t game at Michigan and then sat the next few games with "mono" before ultimately not playing again. Funny thing is during this bout with mono OSU athletics posted an Instagram of him visiting kids at Randall Children's hospital. caleb smith couldnt count to two and was a clutch performer in the 3rd and 1 to 3rd and 6 yard penalty conversion. It was a problem during Rily too. He couldn't be trusted to remember the snap count.

Instead we get the first in a long string of questionable injuries and illnesses surrounding players that weren't playing. I can guarantee that no guy with mono is going to be allowed anywhere near Randall Children"s hospital.

Warning Danny Moran tweet.... but GA has no idea why his 4 star WR didn't play. Clearly the visor is cutting off circulation - that's the only logical answer. Near as I can figure--and according to you all, I don't figure too well--this has one of four interpretations. 1. The obvious one that you all have jumped on: CGA is clueless during the game. I'm not sure that this has merit, though, given his rich recount of the game in the pressers. He knows what's going on. 2. There is a communication problem between CGA and the coordinators/coaches. I don't follow this too carefully, so I don't know why there might be. Didn't he hire them all? Are they on the wrong page? Don't they have CGA's back? 3. There is a lot more with being a head coach and overseeing the team and the game than we know/give him credit for. He can't possibly micromanage each detail. This seems like what he's saying. It doesn't come out well, though. 4. He's trying to be evasive for a particular reason. It could be to withhold information from our next opponent, from the NCAA, from reporters. Who knows? Maybe CGA is just deferring the question because he is protecting Hodgins. You guys like #1, but I bet a few fancy talkers could build a case for any one of these. #3 is too matter-of-fact. According to Occam's Razor, it has to be could likely be the answer. But I'd put my money on #2. Clearly the coaches and the coordinators who are supposed to be working with the kids don't seem to be working out. I suspect that the dissension starts there.

All offer a simple solution to the question, and Occam's razor is often used as a statement of probability, not as a law that limits possibilities.

I hope an elevator dysfunction or falling piano is in his future. Hoping that someone falls or is smashed by a piano is a wildly excessive and foolish response, unless Danny beat you or someone you like with a bat once.
