Nebraska did not dominate Arkansas State in any way, and even was outgained by ASU. Now this Oregon game. I think it's going to be a long season in Lincoln, and that Riley's seat is going to get pretty warm.

Lee just LOCKS ON to his guy.. and throws inaccurately. Thank goodness for pass interference penalties to help move the ball!

I don't feel like wading through the Husker boards but that was about as bad of a half as ANY team can have. Can't imagine a fan base that thrives on its defense is feeling real warm and fuzzy about Diaca's 3-4 loosey goosey D. They battled back in the 2nd half, I was hoping they would score just to see if Riley would go for 2, which I actually think he would depending on how much time was left.
They got 3 easy games to right the ship before Wisky and Ohio State come to town. If they stumble in one of those games then lose to both Wisky and OSU, I could see Riley's tenure ending after 3 years. Gotta do more than beat the easy teams when you coach at big boy football programs.

At least Nebraska made adjustments at the half. Shut down the Hole in the Second Half. Without the turn overs Ducks would have been whacked.

Terrible first half, but a total shutout in the 3ns half, that's pretty dang good.

UofN D came to play in the 2nd half. Too bad they were unprepared in the first half. Schmucks look talented. A lot of speed. Skill kids look good. Discipline will be their Achilles...but....dammit.

Oregon found a way to turn a Big Win into a little win. Who would expect a game flow where their O dies on the vine in the 2nd half and their D makes the game winning play at the end?
