Not much was expected of them after graduating Randle, Nastic and Brown, but they've done ok so far. Beat Utah last week and took Colorado to the wire at home. Their 5 losses are all to top 50 RPI teams and were competitive in those for the most part. On the other hand, some pretty bad teams have competed with them as well, but they've always taken care of business. They don't seem to rely on anything particular, although are near a top 50 in scoring defense. They're not particularly big. They have 5 players averaging double figures, so pretty balanced. No glaring weaknesses, seem to take care of the ball and rebound decently, and shoot a decent percentage. Appear to be able to get to the line better than their opponents. Anybody have thoughts on how we might match up with them? I was as the game at Stanford last year, and that was the worse OSU played all year - was overall just a brutal, forgettable game. Stanford scored 48 points in the 2nd half, and looked like Kansas did in the 2nd half this year. www.osubeavers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=209910993&DB_OEM_ID=30800 Stanford had quite a bit to do with how bad we sucked that day, and I hope they bring something extra for them tonight as a result.

We look awful so far....wow. Starting to think Duvivier shouldn't see the floor...he is out of sync, and a turn over machine. Yikes. Amazing how out of sorts we look.

This is the worst effort in the Tinke era so far. Olaf has played literally ZERO interior D (why is he ever playing center). And no one and I mean NO ONE is rebounding for us. Open 3pt shooters all over the place for them. Total garbage half against one of the weaker conference teams. Stanford isn't a bad team by any means, but not nearly as good as Oregon. Oh yeah, the usual MULTIPLE terrible calls against us so far....naturally. Went over 7 minutes without a field goal at one point. Someone really needs to step up.

Malcom has given us nothing for awhile now... in any phase of the game. Although Drew looked lost for much of the CW and all of this half. LMW also a nonfactor. Kind of hard to when with more tos than baskets!
I've never seem a Tinkle team play so undisciplined/poorly.
Out muscled, hustled, smarted, cosched, and we then started pressing. They know our offense better than we do. With this much pressure MSN cuts and picks would be effective but we have weak side in the lane.
Another thought.... never ever go to the 1-3-1 again.PLEASE

1-3-1 needed to die along with the CR era.

We cannot rebound out of this lousy zone. As Stanford hits ANOTHER wide open three

I like our team....but if we can't beat Stanford, one of the 'weaker teams' in the conference....there is NO way I see us making the tourney. Lose this game, and NIT once again becomes the goal. Granted, it's not over, but I've seen little to give me hope. The effort the other night was SO impressive....tonight it's the opposite.

Well they won't beat anyone playing this soft and listless. Gotta assume this is just a one game crapfest

1-3-1 needed to die along with the CR era. Is Tinkle playing Ahmad Starks under the hoop on the 1-3-1?

Tinkle is really good as advertised. One of the only guys consistently bringing it tonight and also getting some rebounds

Tinkle is really good as advertised. One of the only guys consistently bringing it tonight and also getting some rebounds ??what game are you watching? Multiple tos and bad decisions. And Dad has been all over him multiple times for poor effort blocking out getting boards, and no help D. Let's just say that no one played a even half way decent game. It was a true team effort.

Tinkle is one of the few guys actually trying to crash the boards, drive to the hole and playing defense. Sure he's made some mistakes. But look at guys like Reid, Malcom, LMW, Olaf (on defense & rebounding) and Gomis who haven't done anything.

Sheesh - Stanford seems to have Tinkle's number. Worst we played last year, hopefully this is the worst we play this year as well.

Ugh, terrible. During that first fifteen minutes I half expected to hear CR yelling "MOVE!"
