Obvious blown call by blue. Had the call been correct we likely score two and take the lead. Whole makeup of the game could have changed after that.. ESPN called it right when they said 'nobody got worked up over it' on the OSU side. Casey blew it (and admitted to it and took responsibility for it) by not asking for a review. Had the review been done, the call gets reversed. Really hard to argue with the dent in the yellow pad! We plate 1 on probably a 'double'. Not sure that would have had the impact of 'getting it right in the first place' Either way, water under the bridge, nothing we can do but talk about it on a internet forum I don't think anyone except Jenkins would have even had a good look at it and that was from a distance. Plus he wasn't looking directly down the line like the umpire. The umpire was a lot closer and he was the one getting the best look at it. I still don't know how you can miss that call if you are the third base umpire going down the line. Definitely changed the game. The Beavers didn't get anything going after that and it gave Lange all the momentum going forward. In the end, at least the Beavers still have life. That is why winning the first two games is so important. Would have been a bad way to close the season if the Beavers would have been the one needing to win to continue. The Beavers had a mulligan. I have faith the Beavers will win tomorrow. Today, I knew Lange would be tough thats why the missed call was so important. I doubt Jenkins was looking at it directly, when he saw the outfielder wasn't going to get to it, he was probably turning to signal the baserunners - then you look up to see if you have to stop that guy coming from first. Doubt we'll know unless he says something about the play to someone.

That is Baseball. The Call was Blown, certainly changed the game and gave LSU a great Edge. However we were beat by better Pitching and we didn't hit. No pressure and their D did basically nothing. What is clear is LSU can hit the FB Up and don't care for the breaking ball. Razz better be damn good and keep the ball low. If they are hitting and stinging the ball like they did with JT bring in one of the Lefties quick and throw junk. We are still in it and at least a 50 - 50 shot to get to the Finals. Go Beav's

Got a review AND a ref at 3B who wasn't blind enough to miss the initial call.

Supposedly NCAA came out and said that it was not Pat's call for the replay and should have been called for by umpiring crew, who blew the call. Like that is going to happen.

Never gonna happen. Should OSU lose Saturday, we will forever yell "Fair Ball" whenever talking about the 2017 College World Series. Much like how Buffalo Sabres fans yells, "No Goal" after the 1999 Stanley Cup Final. talk to Brett Hull. He will convince you other wise 😀

For what it is worth, that crew is probably sick to their stomach right now. The last thing an ump wants to do is make a faulty call that radically changes the outcome potential (note I say potential; overall the way Lange was dealing, we would have possibly ended up getting the run, but no more). As it is, though, that is easily at least a two run inning because with guys on first and 2nd, Nick most certainly would have put down a bunt for a safety squeeze. So an entire crew has to sit there for the rest of the day and into tomorrow knowing that they f'd up royally, and that will not be forgotten. It happens, it's baseball, but hell, why now? So... what do you think PC is doing? Right about now? Having a steak and thinking about how great it is he will be in TDA tomorrow. What are you doing?(We all know what you are not doing.)

Got a review AND a ref at 3B who wasn't blind enough to miss the initial call. Coach should have asked for one. But that's not why you lost.

Sure it is. You don't have to apologize for the gift, but that's what it was.
