Feeding Fastballs to LSU is well......like Feeding Ducks to a Tiger. Go with Jake or Razz as long as they are getting the breaking Ball over. Then Feed the Tigers the Slop they can't stand. Sliders and assorted junk, down!

I'm torn here... gotta win Friday but if it is Jake will he be able to pitch at all in the finals?
Going back to Game 1 for us.... I thought the strike zone was small and he got squeezed on several pitches. We all know he fell behind in counts and as he brought is Fastball down the heart of the plate they put 2 good swings on him to get those 5 runs.
I do think he had the butterflies in the stomach but it wasn't like he was a disaster... he was a little off compounded by a tight zone = some walks and some timely RBIs.
Jake is fine but at the end of the day... I walk with Casey.
Go BEAVS!

Just so we're clear, Casey did NOT call me and ask me my opinion about the next three games. However, if he did, I would give him this advice: Rassmusen, Thompson, Fehmel, in that order. Relief as indicated. Done.

Ohhh...we need a poster made up, maybe something in the style of one of those anime things. My sweety keeps saying that he's her favorite on the team because his baseball bat reminds her of a lightsaber. This really needs to be a jedi thing, IMO. Complete with mind tricks on the third baseman. "You will let this bunt drop in front of you..."

Projected rotation had been Jake, Bryce, Drew. Not sure why you'd change it at this point. We need to play our game, and not worry about the other teams game. In addition, having a first rounder take the mound is just one more thing to get in the mind of an opponent who has to be already questioning themselves in this one. If Drew throws strikes we win.

I appreciate your points. Albeit I've been drinking but I'm going to trust Pat with my first born and live with the results.

Casey said it is going to be Drew or Jake. Drew seems like the logical choice, if he is up for it.

It is Jake
Just a thought.... Is it possible that Bryce was so effective against SEC teams because he is the opposite of what they see. Every SEC pitcher we have seen seems to be a 91-93 FB, Slider pitcher. Their offenses are still centered around power hitters facing power pitchers. When Bryce and (Jake M) comes in with his soft junk it just messes with them.

The guy that can keep the ball down. Lol. Strong, strong wind out to right today. A chilly strong wind. No dead air.

Gah, can't figure out how to embed a tweet in here. In Twitter, choose the 'copy link to tweet' option, and then on here, use the 'insert embed' </> button and just past the link in.
