Credit where it's due...Poche has given them a complete game in the cooker and saved arms. Congrats to him on setting the all-time win count at LSU.
So I imagine we will see Lange vs. Razz...a couple of flame throwers.
Ought to be a good one. I expect victory, but no way a repeat of Monday's beatdown.
Go Beavs!

It will be a great game. Good luck to the Tigers. At the sign of any trouble, I want to see Mulholland in there carving.

They're gonna be hungry for revenge after what they went through on Monday. Thing about games that are that big of a beatdown in baseball: good teams often can shake themselves out of that, writing it off as a one-time thing. Being able to go a long way with their starter helped today. With a day off in between, we can assume their whole bullpen will be intact on Friday.
We've got the pitching to shut them down again, and the hitting to make them pay for every error. If the Beavs are on, we're into the finals. But if it's an off day, and the Tigers bring a revenge-inspired fury, it could be a bumpy ride.
I'm picking us in this for sure... I just don't see Casey not having this team ready, and not being ready himself, against LSU. But they gotta show up.
Believe. Because I sure as hell do. We got this.
Three more games.

I couldn't decide which team I would rather the Beavers face. On the one hand, Florida State was an unknown and could have been a bad matchup for the Beavers. On the other hand, LSU is better than they showed on Monday (obviously) and you know that the Tigers will not come into the rematch with any false confidence -- they will just be very, very focused on revenge.
I would worry about overconfidence by the Beavers after the big win over LSU on Monday but this Beaver team doesn't seem to focus on anything except the play currently happening in the game they are currently playing. Whether they are favored or an underdog, whether they have met the team before or are seeing them for the first time, whether they have a winning streak or are just trying to survive, the Beavers seem to approach every pitch almost exactly the same. As they say "it's baseball" and there's no telling what might happen on Friday but I'd like to think that the Beavers will play just like they have all year. Whatever the score when the game is half over, I expect the Beavers will focus just on whatever they need to do to get the win. I think there will be some chippiness but I'm hoping that will be coming from (and distracting) only LSU.

One key question is how you get the most innings out of Razz. He goes Friday for many Pitches not sure he could rebound for Tues. or Weds. Also I think the Junk works better against these LSU monsters. They sure didn't like the Junk Fehmel Offered up. Interesting Problem. Razz and see if he gets hit for about 3 Innings. Then one of the Lefties. Then you have JT for Mon. or Sat if needed. I think JT Could Stuff LSU but his Slider has to be on and he has to keep the ball down. I'm sure PC has no idea and has been waiting for my ideas. LOL

Well who all will be taking off Friday. I know i will be! Cough...cough...gaack...sniff...wheeze I am still recovering for the sore throat I got yelling at the TV during the last game (in jubilation mostly - though I did experience momentary frustration at all our LOBs). I have scheduled my recovery/relapse to begin Friday at noon on my calendar. Now I have to go dig the Father's Day present I got from my boys out of the laundry: an orange OSU CWS t-shirt. The raging debate I am having with myself is whether I wash it or leave the good luck from the last beatdown in place..... Go Beavers!

I was getting worried last night. I was prepping for my day today and trying to figure out how to either watch the game live or dvr and enter the cone of silence and watch later
Then it occurred to me. Game is Friday. Doh
