Finally getting some respect from the announcers. After opening up a 7 run lead. You'd think getting to their precious pitcher would've been enough. I thought we've gotten quite a bit of pub. They have the higher draftees, us the better team. There have been exaggerations to some extent on both sides... calling KJ "one of the best hitters in the country" is a large stretch. The team for of "swiss army knives" have jelled at the right time. It wasn't so for much of the season as it was pitching carrying us. I think both guys have true enthusiasm for the game and respect both programs and coaches. When you get this far vs a team like Vandy, praise is deserved both ways. We have not been slighted... praise may come slowly as we earn it... we're not flashy... just workmanlike Ws. You're right. I'm probably overreacting. I'm used to it when it's football season. But we are #1 dammit. And we've crushed their Vandy twice. They ought to be talking about our amazing team and our future. But it doesn't really matter what they think anyway. We're going to Omaha! |

If that's all I have to bitch about I'm fine with that! unneccesary dogpile on Fehmel. He deserved it so keep him upright. |

The lovely Wife and I are headed to Hawaii next week.....Do ya think she'd MIND if I "changed" plans (Like...Omaha...), and BLAME it on the travel agent??!!....;-)
