Its been great doing Play-by-Play with you. I won't be available for the next four games against Portland and WSU, so someone will need to step up.

messi, like what I think Casey will do with our starters the next couple of weekends with going easy on them...you go easy for a bit and come back strong for Regionals. Good work buddy! Nice sweep

The Portland game I have a meeting to attend that evening. My last game here will be Abilene Christian on Thursday. |

3517 attendance. Its great to see Goss Stadium made the trip, at least that's what I take from the crowd noise.

Charter/Spectrum just put the Pac-12 Networks (all of them) up. I got on just in time to watch the last two innings. OSU pitching and fielding looked solid but the batters had some of the worst at-bats I have ever seen. Oh well, we won but I am concerned about the hitting. 9 were made for the game but only 1 run was scored. So many men left on base. Hope that does not bite us in the butt in the playoffs.
When the standings were shown, USC was at the bottom. Go figure! Now to see if enough Pac-12 teams make it into postseason play so we get a good idea of how deep our conference is.

Rick The conference may not be that deep...Only three teams have pulled away from a .500 mark overall. It is an unfortunate reality that the Beavs have been thrashing a conference chalk full of decent, but only decent, teams. |
