That was delicious. Still can't believe they batted the pitcher with a .189 average. Higher BA than their starting 2B(.056). They can't hit. They don't score with the bats, its the free passes and errors. Its been the M.O. for a decade.

Heck of a game, heck of a year!
Would have been cool to do this at Goss, but I can think of no better second option than doing it on the uck field. Keep trying Horton.
Go Beavs!

Mulholland hasn't been right since his long outing several weeks ago come on beavs get out of it! Casey always says that the players are the ones who "fill out" the lineup card (meaning, by their performance). That sometimes takes several weeks to fully unfold - i.e. Fehmel. The next few opportunities may determine if Mulholland remains as closer. Tonight could be the beginning of a return to Max in that role. His veteran chops could be all important in sure to come pressure situations (in June).

Love Pat Casey's emotion after that strike out Also love that AndyP was the first to join him in that. Some great memories of beating ecc in 2013-14

Absolutely. Guy was trying for the HBP. Was really THE most obvious attempt to get HBP that I've ever seen. As the pitcher starts his wind-up, he takes two steps forward and puts his toes on the chalk of the batters box - made zero attempt to avoid the pitch - not even a flinch. I'd have to believe that in pro ball, he could expect the next one in his ear-hole.

Then again, that plate ump was so bad all night that, in reality, that was expecting too much.
