Walk on? All I could find was one 2 star rating. Invisible to most recruiting sites.

There appears to be some sort of connection between incoming WBB recruit Taya Corosdale and Xavier - note the tweet/picture re: prom just a few posts earlier in both Xavier's twitter account and Tayas (https://twitter.com/tchooper5).
Go Beavs!

Show some class, people. He's a walk-on. And yet you guys are bitching because he's not 6'9" . . .

Even had this poster as a young fella... Anyhow, to get back on topic - Welcome aboard Xavier Smith from O'Dea in Seattle..

He should be a good addition filling out the roster. I like the work ethic of them walkons.

I'm assuming he's a walk-on. We need to have some, good thing he's coming.

He is a walk-on according to this article: www.oregonlive.com/beavers/index.ssf/2017/05/oregon_state_mens_basketball_g.html#incart_river_indexThis is a good sign for the program to be getting commits from walk-ons that we actually want rather than holding open tryouts or combing the student body for anyone that can fill in. While I appreciate everything the walk-ons of the last few years have done for the program, I'd rather have walk-ons that we actually recruited. That said, welcome Xavier!

Good article. Did not understand this one phrase regarding his HS team: "applies constant full-court pressure." Anyone heard of this before? Sounds like witchcraft.
