Great weekend of baseball, and the weather matched it.

"What a team." Dodger fans know the "origin" of the quote. I'm NOT a Dodger fan, but.....dayem. Any baseball fan HAS TO KNOW that! Right? No?

I am stuck on like/hate of these pac 12 TV announcers. The play guy talks too much but he did call Cal a "bubbling cauldron" which is a decent analogy of their collection of dangerous hitters.
However they failed to give Kwan real credit for scoring on that rundown. The color guy just said it was a failed rundown without watching how Kwan turned and faced that guy with the ball all the while he was backpedaling to home plate. Then the guy finally realizes Kwan is in striking distance of the plate and makes a panic throw to home, which Kwan knocks out of the glove with his head.

Make the play at third base and even if you screw up, he does not score.

Then tag both players and let the umpire determine which one occupies the base. I have seen both players called out too. A double play of sorts. The umpire calls one out then the other steps off and gets a tag applied

They failed in two run down situations this weekend, speed, agility and pressure kills. If their mental game was in line with their offense, the might be a lot higher in the standings

Trail runner is out if both are on the base. Base belongs to the lead runner unless he is put out.
