Kwan needs to take charge out there. No way Madrigal should have made that catch. Kwan is the CF. CF run the outfield. Outfielders call off infielders. Yeah, everything worked out OK, but this is a disaster looking for a place to happen. Nick was yelling for the ball the moment it was hit and kept yelling; doubt Kwan would have been heard. As Madrigal does the backward flip I could see Kwan bend over him and say a few words, with a smile of course. Oh well, it worked out, and I think coach might have had a few suggestions in the dugout as well. |

I dont want to rehash the tragic story of beaver center fielder Scott Halbrook but the safe play is sometimes the best play. You can yell all you want but at all costs avoid the collision. |
