Luke strikes our first 5 of first 6 batters in front of numerous scouts there to see Canning, with Luke possibly as an afterthought (?)

Kwan gets the first squarely hit ball of the game for the Beavs. No score top of four. Kwan on first, no outs. KJ walks. Kwan scores, big hit for Trevor. Canning now having trouble getting the curve over. Gretler k's. Donahue k's. Grenier K's. Canning pithes his way out of it.

Some bad baseball being played thru 3 innings... poor bunts, 2 Es, baserunning faux pas...
Great pitching though. Need some runs... it's Canning til he falls off the mound. He's got a plus FB... not a lot of movement, and average D1 breaking ball he tends to overthrow. They are not going to hurt Luke...

We have a great pen... not a fan if extending Luke here. Especially if it's the "if he puts a guy on we pull him".
Ok... that's better... glad someone listens to me!
PS- somebody needs to inform the UCLA press box you don't play "Hit the Road Jack" when a pitching change involves a guy who just shoved it up your arse!
