For someone that claims to like to have factual discourse with others, you seem to be having a difficult time with it today. So let me get this straight. You choose to bring up a past post to say "I told you so" to other posters while the game was still on. You get called out for it.(because it really is an immature thing to do. Hey look at me! I was RIGHT!) Then when you misread a post and its content, you go off the deep end and and attack the person, not the content. When corrected to show you did not grasp content, you continue to attack the poster from a personal position. Never admitting you may have been wrong or off. Never let them see you sweat. Always attack, attack, attack. I would give you the advice to stop while you are behind, as you are making a fool of yourself. Let me help you: Ad hominem (Latin for "to the man" or "to the person"[1]), short for argumentum ad hominem, is a logical fallacy in which an argument is rebutted by attacking the character, motive, or other attribute of the person making the argument, or persons associated with the argument, rather than attacking the substance of the argument itself. You can choose to reply, as I am done. LMAO... nice cut and paste. Did you not know that already or just not how to explain. And, by the way, my post had no "I told you so" meant or implied. Simply stated that some posters on here took some "site heat" for bringing up TOs. I don't need "I told you so" or to be right... unless my integrity is attacked by a lame post implying I wanted the women to lose as to be right. Again... "deep end"? Lol... I am well aware of your typical post so you are certainly not one to ever get my dander up. And, certainly not over a message board post! Hence, you are finally correct and "fulfilled"... thx for no more replies. GO BEAVS Well, you do seem to be spinning the narrative to meet your needs. Your "integrity" was not attacked in two ways. As plainly pointed out multiple times, my comments were not directed at you wanting the girls to lose. So either you are not very intelligent or choose not to admit your mistake.(I guess the English language could not be your first and primary language and therefore you have trouble with interpretation. If that is the case you have my appology for our misunderstanding.) You have a very well placed and earned persona on this board as well. Most people here would not associate it with "integrity". In order for something to be attacked, it would need to be present to begin with. Keep up the pivot and move narrative. Continuing to post or comment last will not make you correct...it will just keep you in the place you are so desperately trying to get out of.

On a different topic, anyone follow the twitter feed of WBB?
At halftime of FSU game with a five point lead they tweet "Halftime in Stockton. 20 minutes to #elite. #gobeavs.
During the conference title game against Stanford it was something to the effect of "Twenty minutes to another championship" (Since deleted).
I'm sure the opposing team is not looking for chalkboard material in the middle of the game, and certainly our players don;t see it, but as fan it makes me cringe when they post stuff like that.

Her shot was flat and short all night. Her shooting woes looked like what happens when you legs just aren't there. I think she was flat out exhausted from carrying us to the conference title. She was huge in many of those games and it finally caught up with her. She's a great player and needed help. IMHO sometimes you have to get worse before you get better and that would include a lower finish in conference (while developing other players) which may make a better team in the tournament.

I'm surprised the mods have not shut this thread down yet. All I can figure is we have entered the slow season and they find entertainment in watching you make a fool of yourself. BTW...you are still in the wrong.

Turnovers happen a lot in womens basketball. Check other box scores. OSU lost because they couldnt make shots, especially 3s. FSU is good at creating turnovers. Lets look at how many they got vs other top teams
UCONN 17 TOs the best team in the country with over a 110 straight wins got the TO bug vs FSU
Texas 21 TOs Louisville 19 TOs Duke 20 TOs
Yep OSU was so terrible with turnovers that they somehow managed to win 31 games. But all some people want to focus on is the 5 losses and not the wins. Fyi OSU didnt win because of luck. You dont win 31 games And beat stanford, ucla, UW, and win the title from the strongest conference by being lucky.

You dont win 31 games And beat stanford, ucla, UW, and win the title from the strongest conference by being lucky. However, the # of TOs is relative to the style of play. A team that scores in the low to mid 60's can ill afford to be in the minus column in TO's. Not only were we the lowest scoring of the elite teams, OSU also was extremely low in creating TO's. We see ourselves as a great defensive team in terms of shooting % and points/game, but we did not create a lot of "extra possessions" for ourselves. If you have issues scoring and do not create a "plus" in the turnover margin the # of TO's has a larger impact on a team. OSU just could not give away as many possessions as they did when you reach this level of play. It was going to be their downfall eventually and almost was in game 1. And, as well as this team did... last year's team was much better equipped for tourney play. In their starting 5 there were so many offensive weapons/options and ways players could score the basketball. SR tends to "ride" his starters, and IMHO the lack of developing more PT/depth hurt this team eventually as we had players in funks at the same time and became way too streaky. At times we were very limited offensively especially in the last 4-5 games as Marie became ineffective from the perimeter and our other posts basically limited to post play with very little face up game besides Kolby fade away in the lane. Too many turnovers/careless post entries and streaky scoring was a trademark all season. I found it quite amazing how well we played in clutch time and how many times we continually responded in close games. That is a true testament to the culture SR has built and the character and fortitude of these young ladies. But, overall FSU was clearly the better team.

Riding the starters was a Ralph Miller coaching trait that SR must have watched as a youth. Can't argue that it wasn't successful in the regular season but winning tourney games wasn't Miller's forte`. SR did a fantastic job this season working with what he had. FSU had some athletic players who could create their own shot and made them consistently. Beavs need some of those types in the future to carry them when running the offense isn't getting good looks.

Add South Carolina to the list. They had 18 TOs vs FSU Again, it's all relevant to the team and game. You can afford minus 7 in TOs when you shoot 58% and have as many FG as your opponent in 26 less attempts. They had 18 TOs and still scored 71. We scored 70+ twice since Jan 27th... twice in the last 16 games... or as many as we scored in the 40s. PS- side note in that we were a low scoring team and were -45 in turnovers in our 6 March games... -18 in the two losses. And -157 on the year... -92 in league games.
