It's legal. It was an official visit. She got the tour of both schools and met with all coaches and players. Not sure why the duck players didn't also hug the 1700 other fans in the arena. They are the ones who deserve it.

Maybe it's because I'm a guy but a sweaty hug line doesn't seem that appealing to me.

I saw that picture on Her Twitter. I wonder if that contact is illegal? I think with Basketball it takes a couple recruiting classes. My opinion is He has a good class. They apparently sent a few Gals packing. Seems How they operate. I also think they might have the edge with this particular Player. Her Brother's situation doesn't help. Regarding her brother's situation: A previous post said he was invited to walk on at Oregon. I know this is getting in to fantasyland, but my initial thoughts had me wondering if Rueck could convince Tinkle to offer the bro a scholarship. The young man said it was his dream to play D1, which I took to mean not necessarily for U of O. Oh well, we'll just let the coaches and players do their best and see what happens.

Hole has demonstrated that they will stop at nothing - and I do mean NOTHING - to try to lure kids. It is like ripping skin off to that place to have OSU get the attention over them in any sport. I really want Ionescu to chose OSU, and truly believe she'd fit like glove here. Hopefully, Sabrina has connected with our big-time players ( as in members from national teams and recognizes the type of top 10 program that Rueck has built here. Like Casey has done in that other sport in which our success is driving duck fan crazy, Rueck created this from the ground up, the old-fashioned way. I know the ethic in Corvallis is just different than in Eugene, where a major sugar daddy has spawned an instant gratification philosophy and attitude of entitlement.
Not saying Graves isn't a good coach, but his sleazy assistant left us to go there and recruits dirty. Ironic that one of the tools to try to dissuade Ionescu from being a Beav, is that we may be TOO well-coached! Seems that great players would love to play for a great coach in a great program!
As for Rueck being lured away, I honestly think there would be only a few programs that could even turn his head. He's got a great quality of life coaching at his favorite school. He has another really good recruiting class coming in - one that could be top 5 if Ionescu comes. Unless UConn, Notre Dame or Tennessee calls, why even take the call? And those schools aren't in the most awesome places to live in America anyway.
I personally see no draw to hole. They have lousy crowds and haven't done a thing in recent years. At any rate, you gotta love this country where. Kids get choices. Hopefully, Sabrina will see through the fluff and sign with the Beavs. She's an excellent player and - as I said - would be a perfect fit at OSU. Imagine she and Sydney teaming up with the rest of the crew next year!
