"That may be the only run they need" Why would you say something like that? A 1 run lead is NEVER enough!

Hank...why are they throwing over to first base after that double? Ohhh, an appeal Free JayBird!!!1111 (the 1111 is for Baseball111)

I didn't get to listen to alot today... too many meetings but I did catch him admitting he doesn't follow/know much baseball. I think they also had some rough patches with commercial breaks and the engineering side of things... but as long as we are winning I'm good

Hank helped out on the 2nd game. Filling in some details. Which helped the broadcast. i think Hank saw Jon was struggling a little so he jumped in
Tried to track down jayByrd. E mail bounced back. So maybe he is retired

I like Warren's voice for calling the games though, he'll get the hang of it since he admittedly is not normally on baseball duty.
Solid start to the season with the two wins, particularly against the potent Indiana lineup.

He was one step above "Boom goes the dynamite" guy. A small step.

How bad is Jay Reese? He is so bad that Jon Warren is better!

I prefer JayBird to Parker. Lol. Parker gets so negative in the first inning of some games when an opponent scores that listeners start looking for bridges to jump off.

He has been more NegaParker lately, but I think basketball steals his soul. Hopefully he is a bit more even keel this year, even with the atrocious basketball season.

Over the years he's tried to change his "image" too much... he was more natural early on. Then since his "admission" he seems to ramble incessantly at times. And, while I can take Walton's lunacy because he's having fun. MP's act is like he's trying to be intellectual and prove he knows more than most. His over use of $10 words and his stretches to try to connect his stories to the context of the game he's supposed to be focused on gets old. On top of that he seems to be making more and more mistakes he'd never make previously. I only listen to him postgame now and some times he seems to not be paying attention to his own highlight package.

Fer crissakes guys, ease up on Warren....it's his FIRST series of games he's called in maybe years. He'll get better. And anyway, I like his enthusiasm and the fact that he doesn't pretend to know everything OR admit when he makes a mistake.
Jaybird was just painful to listen to. Period. And, IMO, Parker is PERFECT for Beaver baseball....very knowledgeable and treats his audience as if they are as well. Some of you obviously don't know just how fortunate we are to have the baseball announcers we have.
