Wouldn't game theory say to vote for Syd and the two lowest vote getters to further muddy the waters for the others?

Wouldn't game theory say to vote for Syd and the two lowest vote getters to further muddy the waters for the others? It might if it was a close race amongst a lot of players, but there are two that have separated themselves from the field, and Syd is up by almost 3% over second place. (or has roughly 13% more votes than #2)

Whoa! What happened, last I checked Syd was at 20%, now 26! and in the lead by almost 4%! She's at 33% now, and running away with it. Amazing what a dedicated group of "get out the vote" volunteers can do (and it speaks volumes as to how many internet accessible devices the average OSU fan has )

There is still a week of voting left, and no telling what sort of "swing" vote FSU could muster on behalf of their candidate.....or exactly how many votes of lead Sydney has garnered with her ~10% lead over the FSU candidate. www.seniorclassaward.com/vote/womens_basketball_2016-17/So we should continue pushing Syd's candidacy for another week..... (And I am still mentally preparing myself for the coaches and media to select one of the over-hyped players out there....) Go Beavs!

The Florida State girl is making a move. We can't let her back into the race. She's a bad apple . . . I've heard she eats spaghetti with a knife and fork.

I see that voting has closed on the CLASS site for women's basketball..... Did anyone note how the voting ended up? Last time I voted, Sydney had an approximately 10% votes lead over her next closest competitor, who was Leticia Romero, Point Guard at Florida State (which adds one more wrinkle to the upcoming game). All the other candidates had tiny percentage points of votes (on order of 3 and 4%) while Sydney was in the 35% range, and Romero in the 25% range (going only by my aging memory). Note that fan vote is only 1/3 of the puzzle, coaches and media are the other 2/3. But good to see Sydney show so well on this national stage along with all the other places she has shone.
Go Beavs!
