Do we have any schollies left for 2017 class...

I know there are some HUGE fans of Drew on here so I fully expect the wrath of at least one of you... BUT, Drew is no where near the top big man in the league... not this year or next year. Have you seen him hit a face up jumper on a consistent basis, let alone have 3 point range? Have you seen his stats vs elite bigs? In fact his games lately have been a disappearing act until it's garbage time. 

1st half UCLA: 3/3
1st half SC:  2/2
ASU no elite bigs... great game overall
1st half Zona: 6/2
1st half Utah: 2/4 overall: 8/7 
Colorado no elite bigs... great game overall
Cal no elite bigs... great game overall
1st half Stanford: 3/2 overall 8/5
Oregon game was garbage time from the start... but good game stat wise

Anyway... that is not the lines of a top level player, let alone a dominate type big. Drew is the best big we have... he's at 16 and 8, so did GPII last year! Who is the top level Pac12 guy? At 4-22/0-13 what's it really saying when you look at our best player(s)

Drew's not an elite Pac12 player... not yet. That would be like saying Stevie is a top wing because he's at 18/g. Will he be hyped next year going into the season, sure. So will Tres. So will Stevie. But, bottom line these guys are not the caliber of the elite players. Nor are our current recruits as compared to the elite teams.

Best thing that can happen is that a bunch of the elite teams can get young in a hurry if some of their elite players go early... and it could be a bunch.

Now if you listen and believe Steve Lavin and his "wanna be Walton" musings, then Drew has a 10-12 year NBA career ahead of him!! Ya... if he develops a work ethic and a more complete game. In fact lately Big G has shown more competitiveness and complete game development than Drew as of late. 


And... who are these two JCs??? Signed? You mean more contribution than the last two JCs???
