Whatever happened to the Nut23? He was amusing. Seems weird For a Millennial Die hard Beavers Football, and baseball fan that Bleeds Orange and sees Orange to disappear during football season.

.......loaded with talent. First year QB looks very good. Deceptive. A lot of people who can catch and run. Dye is a quick little monster. Their defense is very fast. LBs fly to the ball, and will hit you. Beavs will have to play very well to win this game. I expect them to compete, but HAVE to protect Gebbia, and give JJ some creases. Our “O” has to score touchdowns. More than a few of them. Go Beavs!!

With a mascot they had to originally steal from Disney! No imagination - maybe someone should link up to the infamous "ROBO DUCK" - now there was marketing genius at it's best!!!! Civil War week always brings out the barbs towards one's rival. Sometimes the barbs can stimulate an interest in facts: 1. The University of Oregon teams were called the Webfoots starting as early as 1895. 2. The mascot on the sideline up until the 1940's was in fact a live Duck (each named Puddles). 3. Oregon AD Leo Harris was a personal friend of Walt Disney. Leo ASKED to use the likeness of Donald Duck as the basis for the Duck Mascot. The agreement was a handshake among friends. 4. Following Walt Disney's death in 1966, the corporation worked out a formal agreement with U of O for the use of the likeness. The agreement was structured to limit distribution of apparel and other merchandise with the likeness to Oregon and limited areas beyond (e.g. Vancouver, WA). 5. The current Duck differs from the image of Donald Duck in multiple facets of his appearance. 6. The new "Duck" logo is a stylized version. And is consistently referred to as "Puddles", both in use on uniforms and on merchandise. Not sure how you can call that "stealing". And a lack of imagination to use Donald Duck as the basis for the mascot turned into one of the most recognizable sideline mascots in college football today. Re-branding the University logo to the "O" (outline of Autzen with the shape of Hayward Field track in the middle) has also produced one of the most recognizable university logos. Insulting Robo Duck is of course well-deserved. Yaaaawn

Their WRs are better than they've had several years. Their RBs are average at best. Dye is a fumble waiting to happen. Their D is horribly coached and lacking talent with all the opt outs. Their kicking game is the worst in the conference. I think we win 4/10 times.

They finally got a better OC and their offense is much better. Shough also has better receivers. Herbert only had decent receivers his Senior year. Herbert is showing in the pros what he should have been in college.

He’ll show a promising steady decline. He is a great runner though. Shockingly, I agree about the D. They looked so much faster and tougher last year. Underachieving in my book.

It's the same entire front 7 minus 2 guys, yet their scheme is entirely different.

Obviously #2 has improved, but uh, they're down Pittman and FOUR TEs and the passing game is explosive. Shough is WAY niftier making reads and plays. Herbert was a 1 read and panic the f%#* out, run out of bounds 4 yards behind the LOS instead of throwing it away, guy. Coaching of course is better.

I said shockingly because I think they were so much better last year. You’re on the money there.
