2018 verbal commit Jack Wilson was supposed to be coming back for his official visit. Was it possibly him?

But this shows very little of either player. Agree - there isn't much video on Jack. I saw him play his soph year vs. Burlingame, and he didn't have a big impact in a fast-paced game with Burlingame red-hot from deep. He looks less stocky in the pic with Tinkle, so maybe he's more fleet of foot and likely more comfortable in his frame. I didn't see him play last year. I'll catch a game or two this year and report back. My only impression from that game was that he was a massive presence that was under-utilized and not a great fit for Serra's overall style. |

But this Scout's article says he won't be visiting schools until after December. "He currently has offers from California, Arizona State, Kansas State, Oregon State, UNLV, Utah, USC and Washington State, among others" and won't be signing until spring. |

My initial thought was Kenneth Wooten, 6-8, It is possible, but the player looked to be taller than Coach Tinkle. Maybe a little more slender. Of all the players I have searched, Wooten is the closest in size. I could have sworn Kenny Wooten already signed with Nevada, so I had to look him up. He did sign, but asked for and got his release from them. I remember thinking he was a nice prospect. Have you considered Daniel Mading or Alexis Yetna as the mystery recruit? I heard Mading was planning a trip a month back, but I never heard if/when he was actually coming out here. You want slender? Mading is listed at 6'9", 175lbs! Yetna is listed at 6'8", 195lbs. |
