These are epic from the Spartan board:
“The fact that he threw a Hail Mary on 1st down with two timeouts is unreal. The fact that the coaching staff didn’t drill some discipline into him after his previous braindead plays is inexcusable. I can’t even believe what I just watched.”
“AC had 3 INTs and missed two wide open throws for TDs.”
“Anyone who “supports” Chiles at this point is a ******** loser. Give me the backup who has brains.”
“we're in a different world now. If you're making a million dollars of NIL, you need to deliver.”
“Chiles is our best chance at getting back to 10 wins in the next two seasons. If you all want to jack each other off playing some other garbage team at the Mr Roof Bowl or whatever 6 wins gets, have at it. But that doesn't do anything for me any more.”

Also, Still kind of weird to think niner will be down the road coaching the spartans. Don't tell me to root for a niner win, ughh.

If Oregon wins by 60 I honestly would be thrilled...that is something i have never said in my entire life.

As someone who sat through that brutal 9 OT game in 2021 - this suggestion is so much worse than it sounds for everyone involved

As someone who sat through that brutal 9 OT game in 2021 - this suggestion is so much worse than it sounds for everyone involved what game was that? Penn St v Illinois It went to OT tied at 10 and 9 overtimes later the game ended 20-18 Illinois. Both teams got a FG on their first and second OT attempts to bring it to 16 all. Remember after the 2nd OT they just trade 2 point conversion attempts so the two teams then had 10 consecutive failed 2 point conversion attempts. In the 8th OT, both teams managed to score and then in the 9th and final OT Penn State failed and Illinois converted. In total the two teams were 3/14 on two point conversions. Just ugly ugly football.

I can't root for either - so I will be pulling for both sides to get horrid double-barrel cases of pinkeye and a solid doses of chlamydia for all of them.
Also - I hope a sewer pipe bursts a that landfill of a stadium and dysentery becomes a possibility for attendees.

My thought is what would have happened if the 1983 season had the same overtime rules as now. Oregon outgained us 345 yards to 238. They had seven turnovers and we had six. Each team missed two field goals. As a guess, the first two overtimes would have gone scoreless. Someone would then have made a two-point conversion to win the game 2-0.
